The implications some people make in this thread are disheartening. You would really think people are above that.

Anyways, I've said my peace in here. Congrats to Denver fans. Good to see Peyton get win #200 and hopefully he just hangs it up because his lack of physical ability is glaring. Von Miller is about to get paid. Carolina had a great run and appears to be set up pretty well next season. That OL played over its head the entire season and just couldn't get it done against an insanely talented Broncos pass rush. That Denver punter also needs to be paid for whatever being paid as a punter means. He really had a huge impact in this one.

Not a fan of the Broncos players talking **** beyond belief after the game. But those are the breaks.

To be expected with all of the talk about how brash and cocky the Panthers are.

I am pretty disheartened by some of the Broncos **** talking after the fact.

My first reaction to this theory is "man did you see our offense all year?" but the bottom line is, with the 3 and outs and all, we still won the SB, so I guess we just need a guy who isn't gonna throw 4 picks a game.
Man, if that happens I feel bad for you and other Broncos fans in some respects. Like I said during the game last night, every time Manning went down I felt like he was gonna get injured. Hopefully that's just wishful thinking on the part of some people.

I read the rest of this thread before posting so I didn't know about all that with Cam overhearing the Bronco player talking up the defense and such. I will give a mea culpa on what I said last night. I know that if I heard my opponent gloating and acting all jubilant after what went on I'd have made a hasty exit too. In that circumstance, with raw emotion and knowing you're going to be asked stupid questions it's tough enough but to hear another guy yammering on about how they shut me down....Yeah, i'm gonna head out of dodge.

Can we all agree they ABSOLUTELY MUST improve the trophy presentation?

I mean...that was it? "handover the trophy"

Followed by that nut job having to read an 8 word speech?

What nut job? You mean Pat Bowlen's wife?

I kind of wish they'd go back to doing the trophy presentation in the locker room area but that's never going to happen again.

No, we can't all agree on that.

                    What do you propose?

And do you know the reason why that "nut job" was up there to give a speech?

No one was moving. People in the streets yelling and throwing ****. Cops fitted up in crowd control gear.

Also, this was roughly 3-4 hours after the game ended.

I guess I'm one of the few that can't give Cam a pass at the press conference. So what if some of the Broncos are being "sore winners"? It doesn't mean you have to be a sore loser. Pouting and sulking because you lost? Not giving their defense any credit? You have to show more class than that.

Wait, now players aren't allowed to pout and sulk because they lost a super bowl? I could see that argument after a week 9-12 game...but holy ****. Some of y'all have high standards for athletes. One of the worst moments of the guys life and he's not allowed to be sad and emotional?

I'd love to see what some of you would do after you just put on a ****, **** performance in the biggest game of your life. Acting like you'd be smiling and saying "Man, the Broncos played a great game. They're an awesome team. Awesome awesome. I'm so happy for them and the game plan they had and the way the executed."

Congratulations to the Denver Broncos. An all-time great defensive performance, and a fairy-tale end to Manning's career (likely, anyway).

As a Lions fan, I'm always a little wistful after the Superbowl, seeing all those fans partying and so happy...maybe by Superbowl C ?
