Lesson, never doubt a Bill Belichick coached team's preparation, and focus coming off a Bye in the Playoffs. Just complete domination and Brady has been shredding that Defense since the opening drive. I expected Bosa, and Ingram to have had more of an impact but it's hard to get a good rush when Brady knows exactly where to go with the ball, and Michel is gashing you every other run.
It also seems like Belichick isn't afraid to crib off of other teams' successful strategies. A lot of what they're doing on defense is more or less the kind of things the Ravens did in their two games against LAC.

I knew this was a defensive mismatch going in. Chargers play more zone, blitz less often than almost anyone in the league; Brady, conversely, eats up zone coverage and really struggled against the blitz this year.

Bottom line: the defensive gameplan that worked against Lamar Jackson wasn't going to work against Tom Brady. Just horrible coaching.

Not that it really matters, but wasn't that actually a successful challenge? They challenged that it was a fumble....they didn't challenge the recovery.

It was, they shouldn't have lost a timeout or a challenge. I think the score just made everyone look past it.

Oh how hard I would laugh if Brady gets hurt during garbage time.

What an embarrassing performance from a 12-4 team.

Eh we still had a fun weekend. I thought they’d play better than they did. Boston is a fun town. Heading home this afternoon.

Gillette is a pretty neat stadium. We sat here. Despite the results was a good experience.

I know Brady has a well deserved rep for yelling at and lobbying with officials for flags at times, but how Rivers acted yesterday, constantly berated officials and acting like a big baby, was next level stuff. What an insufferable prick.

Brady was doing the same thing all game. Saw it happening right in front of me. There was apt of displeasure with the officiating from both sides yesterday. More than I’ve seen typically.

It certainly wasn't Rivers' shining moment that way. I know he can be pretty testy at times but that was beyond his usual temperament.

Glad you had fun...Boston is one of my favorite places I've visited/spent time in. A lot of cool history and a neat town to walk around in.
