    Re: Week 14 Discussion Thread

He’s had a pretty damn good year. Yeah, he has his lapses, he won’t ever become Aaron Rodgers or Russ Wilson, but it’s just the price of doing business in the QB market. You guys got your 4 years of paying pennies on the dollar, gotta shell out now.

As great as Elliot is, they probably should’ve cleared the cash. The OL and defense is going to start taking a hit with both the QB and RB making top dollar (plus Cooper?). Unless they hit on draft picks to replenish those areas too. It’s the give and take of the NFL.

The D did a 180 from last year.

      Jaylon has regressed tremendously.

      Sean Lee has nothing left.

      Chido has regressed tremendously.

      Byron isn’t good.

      Xavier Woods is trash.

Isn’t Garrett’s contract up after the season? I think their priority will be Riley, but I don’t see him leaving Norman. I’d love to see Urban Meyer get a job in the NFL.

Curious to see how the Browns bounce back tomorrow. I honestly believe Kitchens needs to finish 8-8 or 9-7 to retain his job for next year. This season has been a disappointment for what was expected (Not saying a super bowl, but at least double digit wins) and a lot of it falls on him. Poor situational coaching has been a continuous issue.

Chiefs didn't take all their gear off the plane and it continued on to New Jersey. It should return and they will get it back in time (as of current reporting) but if that wasn't the case they would have to forefit the game.
An equipment container that contained some of the Chiefs' shoulder pads, helmets and footballs was not unloaded on Saturday and instead accidentally made its way to Newark, New Jersey where it now is being rushed back to Boston in time for Sunday's 4:30 p.m. ET kickoff between Kansas City and the New England Patriots, per league sources.

It was roughly 35 players' bags, according to a source.

Kansas City is responsible, not the Patriots or the league. The Chiefs did not take the equipment off the plane.

"I never heard that before" said one source.

The Chiefs' left-behind equipment is expected to arrive between 3 and 3:30 p.m. ET, in time for Sunday's kickoff. It the Chiefs didn't have the equipment by the the time the game started they would have to forfeit, per a source.

How much it impacts certain players that could be missing helmets or shoulder pads in warm-ups is uncertain. But the Chiefs now are doing what they can to rectify the situation.

Roughly 35 Chiefs players' equipment has arrived in Foxborough, Massachusetts, in time for Sunday's game against the Patriots after it wasn't unloaded by the team in New England and mistakenly went on to Newark, New Jersey.

It's good that the Saints are scoring all these points, but they might want to think about stopping the Niners from scoring too.

Houston having a tough time with Denver. Interesting stat is that teams that beat New England tend to struggle the following week. Last year the Pats lost 5 games....Opponents were 0-5 the following week.

Lol it’s always something whenever a team is playing the Patriots.

Not that it’s their fault BTW but it’s just funny.

Defensive battle in Buffalo. Love to see the Bills contain Jackson, he’s broke a few ankles but nothing crazy yet. We even intercepted him! Unfortunately, offense is putrid, mainly Allen. Singletary and Beasley only players who’ve made plays on offense.

I was sure we’d get bit for taking the timeout with 30 seconds left in the half after kicking back to Baltimore. They tried a trick play, fake QB kneel but we handled it after a gain. Whew! Inexplicable timeout though... could’ve ran clock down to 3 and then kicked the FG with no timeouts for BAL. worrisome decision making there...

Those perpetual losers from Houston following trend by laying an egg a week after winning their Super Bowl is as predictable a result imaginable.

If any team would, it would them.
