Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
Look... That old school football **** needs to die. You can't launch yourself and then say oops I didn't mean to hit you I launched myself. It's can't work that way.True. I get that. But the real problem lies in the referees. You can't trust them to make that call. Because they lack common sense.
I've seen too many times a guy get ejected for a good hit. He was a fraction of a second late or he lead with his helmet and clipped him. He tried to make a football play and got tossed. It wasn't intentional.
If we lived in a perfect world refs could discern the difference between when a guy makes a blatant dirty hit compared to a football play.
But we don't. And we still can't even get a Roughing the passer call right. So I have no confidence in the zebras getting it right.

Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
given the officiating and how they played I would've been so angry had they lost that game, thankfully Rodgers/WR1/Crosby are elite. BDL.Wolverines Packers Cubs Celtics

Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
Tucker is on another level when it comes to kickers.
Aside from the insanity of hitting a 66 yard FG to win the game, the man is 16 for 16 on FGs in the last minute of a game. That is absurd.
Also Browns looking like they could be one of the top AFC teams.
Week 3 for me is when you start to get an idea of how the season will unfold. Looks wide open, should be a good year.Comment

That preview for next week’s game with the Adele song playing over it was hilarious. Well done NBCComment

In a normal 17 week season, Week 4 is right about when you know which teams to take seriously and which ones to brush aside.Tucker is on another level when it comes to kickers.

This year, it’ll probably be more like Week 5-6 when you have a good idea.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
doing the right thing through three plays, getting to Lamar each time, forcing a 4th and 19...
everything after that is so lions
edit: and that should've been a taunting call on the football, it absolutely hit the crossbar on purpose just to hang in the air and have it's "look at me" moment before dumping all over the fansLast edited by l3ulvl; 09-27-2021, 02:22 AM.Wolverines Wings Same Old Lions Tigers Pistons Erika ChristensenComment

Re: Week 3 Discussion Thread
Its the equivalent of when players running untouched into the end zone do that complete stop at the goal line and then fall into the endzonedoing the right thing through three plays, getting to Lamar each time, forcing a 4th and 19...
