That Titans trade still doesn't make sense. I get they didn't want to pay new WR money, but you see the impact that a great WR makes. Before last season, you didn't see Hurts make anticipation trust passes. Especially when Burks hasn't been able to stay healthy and Nuk Hopkins hasn't made a big impact yet. Which also affects Henry as well. A great WR and run game goes hand in hand.

AJ is unreal. His ability after the catch, too.

That's it, just have to run the clock.

Great bounce back game for them. They controlled the line of scrimmage, won the TOP battle by over 10 minutes, besides a couple bad Hurts moments, good game by Hurts.

They're DLine was key on defense. Them being able to stop the run on light boxes really allows more players in coverage. Jalen Carter made an impact.

AJ gave Hurts the upmost confidence to make throws that he wouldn't dare think of. The "I'm open, even if I'm not open" WR

I'll never forgive all the teams that opened the opportunity for the Eagles to draft Carter. That was painful to watch unfold live.

Obvious why Carter slipped, but I think the Eagles Culture helped. Having guys like Graham, Cox, Kelce there helps and fellow Georgia guys there. I think he would've been impactful, but not as much as he has been.

Jordan Davis also stepped it up this year. Last year, his conditioning wasn't there and wasn't an impact on pass rush, and only played in 5 man fronts. This year, Davis has been dominant.

Their DLine last year had 70+ sacks, this year won't. But I think this DLine is better. Hargrave was a better pure pass rusher, but he and Cox together was a liability against the run. Davis and Milton Williams/Carter has shut down the run game up the middle. Josh Sweat has had a under the radar good season. Reddick has picked it up last 3-4 weeks.

Eagles had 31 passes and 34 rushes, they need to maintain that balance

Detroit got exposed. Only reason they beat KC week 1 was Kelce and Chris Jones were out, and the dropsies by the receivers, the other wins were against GB, Carolina, ATL, and Tampa. Frauds

A few thoughts on the Steelers narrow win in L.A .

1-Very inconsistent offense yet again, but not surprising.

2-Undisiplined, Pickens and Johnson penalties that never should have happened.

3-The defense kept the Steelers in the game yet again. It's obvious that the offense is unable to dominate a game and put opponents away.

4-Defense is on the field WAY too much, with the anemic offense the defense has to carry this team, all the 3 and outs are doing nothing but wearing the defense out and they are getting gassed way too soon.

5-Wasn't Maher the Cowboys kicker who missed like 5-7 field goals and extra points against Tampa a couple of years ago?

6-JPJ needs to be the full time starter, Wallace can't cover and looks lost at times and Peterson is too slow...IMO Pittsburgh should look at upgrading at the db position.

7-Obviously I'll take the win,but again IMO Pickett was short on that 4th and 1 play.

8-Just like the Raider game, the db's couldn't cover Adams, and they couldn't cover Nacua, especially on the crossers.

All in all a win is a win, but at the end of the day I still feel like this team isn't very good, against better teams they don't show up (San Fran) and against a team they SHOULD beat (Texans) they lay an egg. This has been just one of the downfalls of Tomlin....getting out coached.

I guess we'll see what the rest of the season has in store, but I'm not expecting miracles.

I thought Pickett played pretty well, especially in the second half. The stat split when Watt plays vs when he doesn't is insane.

Oh I agree about Pickett, but at some point he needs to put together a complete game, and so far he hasn't done it.

When the defense doesn't play well (SF and Hou) Pickett and the offense is incapable of picking up the slack and helping them, much in the way the defense is continually helping the offense.

Watt is IMO the best edge rusher in the game today, and paired with Highsmith there is simply no better duo.

That fills a huge need. That had a big hole at safety.
He is 30 and only has a year left on deal and is from Philly

I felt that it would be out of him, Justin Simmons, or Jeremy Chinn since all three teams are headed towards a rebuild

That's great value. They're likely to comp picks that replaces those picks anyway. Plus Terrell Edmunds was nothing special
