It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

I did not have the NFC North going 0-for-3 in the playoffs and looking this bad in each game.

One of the most stacked top 3s in any division from a W/L standpoint with very few losses coming outside the division, and all 3 lose in the playoffs in their first games.

The NFC North now has a combined 10 game losing streak in the playoffs (Packers 0 for their last 2, Vikings 0 for their last 3, Lions 0 for their last 2, Bears 0 for their last 3)

Not how I saw this game going. I thought Washington might have a chance, I thought the game would unfold in such a way that the yards gained were similar but Lions would be able to cap more of their drives with TDs and that would be the difference. I was wrong.

Beyond impressed with Daniels, I hate that its a cliche because this kid genuinely did not look like a rookie out there. That post pass in particular was a thing of beauty.

I don't know that I could point to any one thing that doomed the Lions.

Pretty impressive going from the #2 pick in the draft to the conference championship. Hopefully we get a Philly vs Washington matchup

I'd say turning it over 5 times was the reason.

Yeah Detroit pretty much knew if they were gonna win it'd be a shootout. They have the offense to go toe to toe with anyone, but not if you turn the ball over like that.

Even after the pick 6 when Goff got rocked (not a dirty hit imo, a penalty though), it felt like Detroit needed to keep the pace. Another turnover right before the half and I'm like ugh Detroit is in trouble, especially with Washington getting the ball first after the half.

Hindsight is 20/20 but I think trying to establish Montgomery after his injury was a mistake, you have Gibbs! Oh well.

Daniels though, those sideline shots of him looking cool as a cucumber, that dude is next. Does he always look that calm? He looked like he was damn near meditating lol. I don't want to anoint him just yet, but he definitely seems to have "it"

Regardless of what happens next week, this is a massively successful season for Commanders. Finally out of the Snyder black cloud, draft your franchise QB, and make it to the NFC Championship year 1.

We'll likely see the Coach Carousel ramp up now that Lions are out. Lions are likely going to lose both OC/DC.

Hell of an upset! I know DET was banged up and questioned the last few weeks but they were still the cream of the crop in the NFC and NFL all season long. It’s tough being the hunted!

Congrats the Commanders on advancing to the NFCCG. Rams have a little extra incentive today — they would host the conference championship if they get past the Eagles.

Should be a good matchup with Philly-LA. But, weather will play a factor since it should snow prior and throughout game. So, I feel Ball Control and Trench Battle will determine this game. Philly is going to lean on the ground game and attack mismatches in coverage.

Yeah, it's crazy to think, Washington is one game away from the Super Bowl. I was hoping for a Detroit Super Bowl but if Washington could get there, that's almost as good. I don't think the NFL wants a Chiefs-Washington Super Bowl, you know the media would begin to dogpile on KC about changing their name too.
