I swear to God if the Raiders decide to not draft a QB just because they have Geno Smith...

I think if the board fell differently, or if the corners were healthy, they would have gone that direction.

Its hard to pick a receiver they missed over all those years. Not in comparison with their success with 2nd rounders. Davante Adams, Jordy Nelson, Greg Jennings, Randall Cobb..

.. If Watson ever gets healthy (which is a *big* if) I don't know how teams can defend this offense.

Watson and Golden, top drawer vertical threats.. if you go cover 2, Reed, Doubs and Kraft feast over the middle... or Jacobs goes off.

Guess we'll really find out what we have in Jordan Love.

The Steelers drafted Derrick Harmon last night out of Oregon. They ran a story about how he used his NIL money to support his mom and that she has been battling serious health problems for a while. She was in the hospital on life support last night. Derrick got to visit his mom and tell her that he got drafted, but sadly she has passed away today.

            Damn, that is so sad
People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

I feel like Pittsburgh is going to embrace this guy... too passionate and smart of a fan base to not do so.

I'm looking forward to seeing the ovation he gets at the first home game this season.

I didn't think Shadeur was a top 10 pick but I definitely think he was worthy of at least a top 40 pick.

Interested to see when he ends up going, has to be this round right here, no?

I thought LV might have taken him in R2...

But they may realize no one else is QB poor at the moment and can wait until 3rd.

                  Dallas... apparently doesn't need playmakers.

I was thinking he'd slide to the bottom half of the first round but I would not have guessed we'd be in the 3rd round and he is still there.

                      Humble pie, Shaduer.

Also ESPN...there's hundreds of other players, how about we talk about them?

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Or...the franchise is owned lock stock and barrel by the Carroll/Geno partnership, and bringing in another QB in to shake things up is 100% out of the question. This is classic Mark Davis' Raiders right here. Rinse and repeat.

Seeing how ESPN is covering the draft makes me happy I don't have cable to get ESPN anymore.

I got NFL+ for a month for $6.99 to stream the draft on NFL Network. As bad as their coverage is, I'm sure ESPN is even more insufferable.

If Sanders somehow ends up as Mr. Irrelevant, it may become one of my top 10 favorite NFL moments. [emoji38][emoji38][emoji38]

Overall, it just wasn't that good of QB class. Credit to Ward for going from Unranked to #1 pick. But, Ward declared last year for Draft and had to come back because he only had a round 3-4 draft grade. Dart didn't always play at his best against the best talent. Shough is going to be 26 in September and has major injury past. Milroe should've transferred when DeBoer became HC, Milroe didn't fit his offense. Next year's class, doesn't have no sure fire QBs either. Manning only has a couple games under his belt and don't know if he wants to declare immediately. The LSU QB is going high mainly off of traits and his father being a OC. Drew Allar is the ultimate "looks the part" but doesn't always play the part QB. Beck couldn't perform the same without Bowers and the other WR that went to LAC..

As far as Sanders, it was a part of manufactured hype and nepotism. He really benefited off the Deion Sanders hype train and the media pundits pushed him up higher than the actual NFL scouts. I watched most of his games. I really didn't like the offense. It is a QB friendly offense where it leads to a very high completion %. He doesn't have special traits and takes way too many sacks and plays like he takes too many sacks. You throw any other QB with similar traits and a different last name and coach, and they wouldn't be talked about like that. I think he could be an solid NFL QB, but I think his circle bought into the hype they manufactured

It's ashame too because a lot of players didn't get the shine they deserved the last couple days. But, at least after he does get picked, the hype will die down.
