I know it was a joke but it's not funny.Originally posted by daflyboysOriginally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :) -

Re: McNabb fires back at T.O.
I learned not to respect TO after the Star incident in Dallas.. Then in 01 claiming Mooch was easy on the Bears cause his friend was the coach.. Niners lost a shoot out in overtime..Originally posted by PerceptorTO is a moron again
Last season, he had a hell of a year and really stepped it up in the Superbowl and at least had a few of us respecting him a lot more for the way he played..
Then he blasts McNabb and asks for a restructured contract of the one HE signed last season....McNabb is a class act in the NFL and always has been...he had every right to be angry yet chose the high road and didn't slam Owens.
If I'm Andy Reid and TO doesn't want to play, boot his a%# out of Philly....I think it's ironic since TO had lobbied so damn hard to play for the Eagles that now he's doing the same thing he did in 'Frisco...Redskins Fan. The 82 Smurfs will never die. 83/88/92 NFL world champions!!

How do you figure this? Culpepper has has Moss, and Chris Carter(arguably the 2nd best reciever of all time) throughout his career. You see what McNabb has done in one season with a great reciever.....you can't be serious with that statement.....This had to be a joke, right?Originally posted by My Wife"The Celtics only won because they have a magical elf playing for their team...."Comment

Re: McNabb fires back at T.O.
As much as I hate the Eagles, I have always like Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb. Reid takes no bull, and McNabb reminds of Troy Aikman. Just does his job, and doesn't play the prima donna role like some superstar players.
I can't imagine how ticked off Reid is, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles are quietly shopping T.O. right now.Comment

Re: McNabb fires back at T.O.
Why quietly shop Owens? Whether he knows it or not, he's shopping himself. He's in an organization which is notorious for NOT restructuring contracts, and regardless of how much of an *** T.O. is just about any team out there minus the Niners, Lions, Patriots, and maybe the Vikings would take a guy like T.O. I wouldn't be surprised if he is indeed moved, it was for Jerry Porter and another player, and possibly a draft pick to the Raiders since they're trying to build such a prolific offense in one offseason. Giants would be another serious possibility if not for the fact they're in the NFC East. Saints I suppose would be another intriguing pick if they could trade Horn/Howard for T.O.Originally posted by ErodAs much as I hate the Eagles, I have always like Andy Reid and Donovan McNabb. Minny won't want TO... For all the stuff about Moss he never threw a teammate under the bus like TO...Originally posted by SaberWhy quietly shop Owens? Re: McNabb fires back at T.O.
It is a little bothersome to me that contracts exist if players can just hold out and refuse to play at any time during the duration of their contract.
It just seems like a balance tilted too much in the player's favor IMO, and in a sport that relies heavily on team play and togetherness, this unbalance becomes even more noticeable.
Coaches can't forceably reduce a players salary when they underperform, yet players can hold out at will if they figure they are deserving of more money?
It just doesn't make any sense to me.Enjoy football? Enjoy Goal Line Blitz!Comment

Great point! I just said pretty much the same thing in the Brett Favre/Javon Walker thread.Originally posted by JimplicationIt is a little bothersome to me that contracts exist if players can just hold out and refuse to play at any time during the duration of their contract.

It just doesn't make any sense to me.No, I didn't draft Grossman on my fantasy team, what do you think I am an idiot?
