I'm seriously wondering if I should start Julio on his Thursday game this week since he has been playing banged up.

Should I bench Peyton for one of these fa options? Cutler @Detroit, Stafford vs Chicago, Bortles vs Houston.

Peyton looks done and Denver's offense looks like crap w/ no run game to support him, yet he's still protected 18 this week vs Cleveland which I don't get.

Bortles for sure. He's got a good core of young receivers to throw to (plus Thomas) against a putrid Texas defense (minus Watt).

Also, TE non ppr : julius Thomas vs Houston or barnidge vs Denver?

Re: 2015 "Who Should I Start" Thread

In one of my leagues with two flexes, I'm looking at Jeremy Maclin, Willie Snead, and Charcandrick West to fill them in. I'd prefer for Maclin and West to not play together since they're on the same team, so it's either Maclin & Snead or Snead & West.

Thoughts on TD probables for this core? Understand that both Maclin and Snead each have only one TD all season so far. I'm leaning towards Snead & West, though it would be a shame to watch Maclin get all of the scores.

I'd ride Barridge until proven otherwise... especially since Thomas hasn't given a reason to throw him in there. Don't confuse him with Gates. Gates was suspended and has been the #1 option for SD for years. Thomas is hurt and just got to JAX... and really didn't do much the 2nd half of last year when Manning decided to throw TDs to other people.

As for your Manning question, I'd just ride with him. I agree that Bortles has looked good but he's also dealing with a shoulder injury.

lol@ not wanting to play them together but I won't open that can of worms again

I think I would go with Snead and West anyway.

Haha come on, this time it's not "picking against who the opponent has."

If you don't mind, let me justify that for a moment. You're talking about maximizing points, right? Well, unless the Chiefs plan on scoring 50 points, I expect the only way out of a multi-TD performance for both guys is to be on different teams. It's just not realistic to hope for a 15+ point performance for two players on the same side of the ball. However, I think it's more realistic to consider for a WR/RB combo than a WR/WR combo. It's almost the same bet against playing a QB/RB on the same team, unless of course it's the Seahawks when Wilson not only runs the ball a lot himself but will also pass to Lynch on screen plays all of the time.

                    I appreciate your input though!

Figured I'd use this for my FanDuel lineup.

I hate having two from the same team but if you do have two, might as well be Green and Eifert.

Anyone think I should try and swap one of them out?

Not bad. Don't like the Decker pick based on what I've seen so far this season. Not sure what their prices are but if guys like Hankerson, Snead, Tate, Aikten and Hurns are around the same price or lower I would go with them based on projected targets

So, the struggling Melvin Gordon against a horrid Greenbay run defense or the explosive Gio Bernard against a stout run defense in Buffalo?

Also got Duke Johnson but thats against Denver. Not touching that matchup. Lol.

If it's ppr the answer is Bernard. If it's standard my choice would be Gordon

Trying to decide on my RB2 and my flex this week (standard scoring, NO PPR):

                                RB2 options:
                                Jonathan Stewart @ Seattle
                                Duke Johnson vs. Denver
                                Isaiah Crowell vs. Denver
                                Knile Davis @ Vikings

I think this is pretty much between Stewart and Duke; leaning towards Duke.

                                Flex options:
                                Any of those RBs
Sammy Watkins vs. Cinci (he's expected to play 40-50 snaps this week)
                                Martavis Bryant vs. Arizona
                                Mike Wallace vs. Kansas City

I'm torn on this one. Originally, I thought this could be a good week for Sammy, but his snap count probably takes him out of the picture. Wallace has a nice matchup against KC, and I think Bryant could be a sneaky good play simply because he's big enough that he can make catches even if Vick isn't accurate, and Arizona will be more focused on stopping Brown and Bell. And whichever RB is available between Duke and Stewart could be a decent flex play this week as well.

The last option would be Julius Thomas, but I'm probably cutting him to pick up a kicker since I already have Gary Barnridge in at TE.
