    Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread

A trip to the Superbowl and a loss there would be easier to take because it could be justified, especially because of all the injuries on defense.A loss to the Patriots at home would be really tough.

THAT SAID, this would be a tough one.....

When Plummer blew it the last time they were in this game in the first half my Plummer Macfarland lost a leg after being launched against the wall.

Still keep it upstairs in my office as a reminder.
I hear ya. However, my game nights are ruined following losses. My wife just leaves me alone, and she doesn't bother with making comments like 'it's just a game'. She doesn't understand it and I can't explain it.

Win or lose, I wouldn't have it any other way.

I'm starting to get pregame jitters. I can't stand this. Please, please don't let them lose to the Patriots. Manning deserves another shot at a Super Bowl. Getting to the Super Bowl would be awesome for John Elway too. He has done a great job putting this team together.

Denver saves their most complete game until now. Nice!

It will take a little bit for this to truly sink in.

No turnovers, and the Broncos win. Simple as that. Patriots were never in it. And! Champ Bailey looked like the Champ that we know. He was all over his man all game.

It was also Nice to see Carter step in and make some plays. He gave up a few, but I was pretty happy with his effort. I wish he would have come up with that pick.

My only complaint would be that I would like to see Denver's defense stay a little more aggressive and not fall into that preventive crap.

              It all worked, today, though!

Carter played well, made some good plays. The plays he gave up were from being conservative which I can live with. I would rather see him give up 8 yards rather than 80.

I will say his tackling sucked though, needs to spend some time with Champ the next couple weeks to work on that. I still want him in on the nickle downs over Jammer.

Do you guys have an opponent preference? I'd like Seattle, but if I knew Denver was going to win, I'd want it to be over SF. Revenge or something...

If SF does go, I am not looking forward to all the reminders about that 55-10 drubbing they took the last time they met. Again...revenge?

Niners have a better front seven but their secondary can be exposed more than Seattle.Whereas,Seattle's offense can be pretty lackluster and the Niners can be good at times.

I don't know how teams can't contain Kaepernick better and he gets loose all the time for big yards.I guess we may see first hand. You certainly can't let him beat you with his legs.

I'm not concerned with our defense containing Kaepernick. We've faced multiple running QBs this year and contained them.

Maybe no one wants to say anything that can jinx the team before Sunday.

You're probably in the same boat as me being out of the footprint.

Everywhere I go, people who know me know I am a Bronco fan and everyone has to ask me how I feel about the game.

Rather than having the same conversation 40 times over last week and this coming week I took a hard stance and refuse to talk about it about it to anyone (even people I would actually consider discussing it with....(Most Steeler fans aren't really football fans)).

I guess that's carried over to here for me as well.

I have my thoughts and opinions but would rather not put them in text for whatever reason.

Plus the Seahawks fans here have been so annoying I had to put another gag order on myself.

See you guys after the game one way or the other.

Yeah, everyone is asking me about it. Do you think they are gonna win? I'm just like "I don't know, I just don't know." I don't really want to talk about it either.
