Just watched the re-run of the Den-Hou game on NFL Network. Cutler looked good, just needs to keep progressing through the pre-season and carry it into the regular season.

The 2 drives the starters had tonight were stellar even though they had the 4th and inches on the first drive.

Royal is looking good so far, he's #2 behind Marshall atm and going up for catches.

Dline has stopped Barber for the most part but the pressure is missing still during passing

So Colbert somehow made the team, I guess they had to since he got beheaded in the Packers game

Samie Parker left in the middle of the night, never heard a peep out when he got cut.

Torain and Alridge are out..Alridge on the IR.

So Peyton Hillis is the starter for FB since Sapp was cut. I actually didnt pay attention to Hillis since I thought Sapp would remain on the team. This is our first real FB in awhile lol

Pittman is the backup FB but I'd be suprised if he had low playing time. Shanahan likes to run the dual-back

Quiet trade with the Broncos. Foxworth to Falcons, we get a 7th round conditional pick. Escalates to a 6th round pick if he re-signs with the team.

"The Falcons are close to completing a trade for Denver cornerback Domonique Foxworth, a person familiar with the situation said Tuesday. The Falcons will send a late-round draft pick to Denver for Foxworth, who is scheduled to arrive in Atlanta around 3 p.m. today. If he passes a physical, the trade will be completed. Foxworth, who's set to enter his fourth season in the NFL, would add some experience to the team's young cornerback group. He was a third-round draft pick by the Broncos in 2005 (97th overall). Foxworth, who played collegiately at Maryland, played in 46 games, including 18 starts, and had three career interceptions for the Broncos."

I miss Al too. That is still my home jersey, is his #56. The true Mike backer is what this team needs. Webster is gritty, but a true Will.

Can't be too celebratory right now. A gift is a gift.

Shannahan must scour Ebay, Amazon, anywhere in search of a defense, specifically a dline with some balls.

The only good thing to come out of this game is how potent our offense really is. Defense needs to figure out how the hell to pressure the QB and stop the cutback 5-10yd gains.

So Colbert goes to Seattle, we get a conditional 5th round pick that could escalate pending his performance. Darrel Jackson is now the #4 and could see some inactive time, guess his foot/ankle is bothering him.

I lucked into killer seats in the lower level on the 50 against the Saints. Former bosses with season tickets for 30 years for the win!

Damn, I need to step my football game up... not buying Madden has ruined my knowledge of the teams/players. I need to go read some rosters tonight so I don't feel like I haven't watched seriously in 2+ seasons...

3-0 but with a shaky *** defense and controversial game we should've lost.

Along with Slowik, I really think our defensive line needs to add more power and weight. All 4 guys are getting pushed around with no problem.

I want to see alot of blitzes vs KC, let Thigpen try passing.

I am glad you are seeing the same thing. My uncle and I have harped on this for longer than just this year. Against the run, you can see it. There is no push at all, just sudden holes. The pass rush, the best rusher, at 125 pounds, is good but not enough. There is no push in the interior, none, zip, zilch. The Broncos are flat lucky to be 3-0. They should be 1-2. We will take it, but wins will be hard to come by from here on out.

The defense definitely needs to be better. When you're up 21-3 in 2 games in a row and blow them, that's not OK. Having said that, the offense has been out of this world and Marshall is a beast

Packer fan here, Ive been watching the denver games and Cutler looks like the real deal. He is lights out right now, strong arm, getting smarter and good recievers around him...now the D has to step up a little more and i think the broncos could go deep this year

Definitely the achilles heel is the defense. This defense played this way all last year, and 3 games into this year. It all stems from DL play. No natural pass rush, poor, week interior line play versus the run. I still think this linebacker corp is not designed to punish the running game. Finally DJ Williams is back to his natural position and not in the middle, but still, Nate Webster is not your typical MLB. This corp misses Al Wilson something fierce. Some way this defense can start putting pressure on the QB, they can at least keep teams from putting up 500 yards of offense.
