Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread
All has been said. Absolutely tragic news. RIP.My teams: Leeds United, Central Coast Mariners, Denver Broncos, Florida Gators, Florida Marlins, Miami Heat, Brisbane Broncos.
My screen-name is a combination of my favourite college football player in Tim Tebow and my favourite ever Bronco, Terrell Davis (30).Comment

Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread
Thomas didn't break any bone in his arm, luckily. Unless its a fracture to his wrist which sometimes wont show up because of how many little pieces there are...sadly I'm an expert in broken bones and x-rays from all my trips.
The Tebow special formations seem to be out of the playbook, glad that was just a first week experiment and the team found out they cant run the ball.
Maroney was hesitant in the game, danced way too much instead of trying to just make his 1 cut and run north/south. Could also blame the line for its poor performance in the run game. Moreno is looking more like a back that needs to split a game up, he's not Ryan Torain but he's not going to have a long shelf life, in my opinion.
Redzone efficiency, same as last year- SUCKS. I heard a few people complaining about the going for it on 4th down, like the Broncos have any choice vs Manning
I count the game as a moral victory really, they stayed in it for the better part of the game and had plenty of chances to take it but failed. Its fairly easy for a defense to stop the Broncos at this point inside the 20 because everyone knows they can't run the ball effectively. Once (if) they figure out a running game, redzone scoring % should go up.
Those are my random thoughts.Aaron

Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread
some observations from the first quarter of the season.
Orton is the leader of the team and now is a top 5 Qb.
O lines inexperience likely to get Orton killed if they cant gell quickly and start to run the ball.
wr corp looks good, Lloyd? I thought this cat was out of the league. would like to see more Royal though but hey....
defense is doing a great job, good enough to win against the Colts and outstanding against CJ and the Titans. No pass rush so far without Doom and I dont expect that to change, Ayers just isnt there yet and J Moss, after what 5 years in the league, hasnt progressed much at all, looks like he is either staying in a lane or has no pass rushing ability at all. he just runs at the blocker, engages and then stops and puts his hands up, no rip, spin, juke nothing. the coaches must be telling him to stay in his gap or something because thats what it looks like. run D looks much improved...Comment

Re: Official Denver Broncos Thread
I haven't gotten to watch the Broncos since the pre-season. Has Tebow even gotten to run a pass play at all? I have seen that he's scored a few short TD's, but haven't seen an attempted pass on his boxscore."People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do.
