One thing I am seeing in some online gameplays, is that people playing defense like idiots are paying for it. Diving around, trying to stop guys by going to one knee, is not working. It's easy to walk around those guys, especially if you can utilize the advanced cuts and pullbacks.

No idea why they defaulted goalies in shootout to CPU. So stupid. But all you have to do is go to settings at the pause menu in between the 3rd period and the shootout, and put goalie mode on. You'll be able to play goalie and also control the skater when it's your turn to shoot. It should be like this as default, but they're braindead.

Idk, im enjoying the game very much, guess im the odd one. Have the game paid off and using the early access, im still picking it up no matter what. I don't know who said there is no AI sliders when there are. I hate no problem with the offline gm mode which I only play anyway. The game for a first effort meets my standards thus far.

Not me, I had almost every penalty called in the few games I have played so far.

Now that I'm starting to get the hang of the skill stick and working with the sliders, the game seems to be playing much better. Is the LS+RS deking new to this year or was it in 14 as well?

Also, on a more positive note, Ray Ferraro is fully rendered and some (not most) faces look okay and the sim stats are much improved (at least from 13).

Apparently, practice mode locks you to only being able to use the first line center of your favorite team. You can "cheat" this by changing your favorite team, allowing you to play as different players. It still limits you to 30 player choices, but it's still better than the single guy that the game gives you.

Have you seen Charging? I don't think that made the leap to "next-gen".

Can someone check to see if there is much variation from game to game? Is it possible to change the cpu strategy by adjusting the coaching strategy of the other team?

can you at least edit jersey #s from the main menu? I know nothing else can be edited,(like equipment)?

Anybody hate the fact that the CPU can skate however they want with the puck? They skate backwards like the Shark in Deep Blue Sea LMAO!! The momentum should affect them too. Also, they need to tweak the tripping penalty call, you should barely touch the CPU and you'll get called for tripping

Here's what I'm most eager to know for anyone willing to answer...

When you tweak the pass accuracy and pass reception ease sliders how effective are they? Can you create a game with tons of loose pucks basically?

You have to jump through rings of fire and walk a 9000 foot high tightrope around the world just to use a different player in practice mode. When for years, you've been able to just simply select whoever you want to use.
