No, the graphics are not improved at all. It looks like an unfinished product. It's exactly like the demo.

I totally agree with you that graphics aren't everything but I did purchase a PS4 to have an upgraded gaming experience in every possible way.Comment

GM connected is out this year, and possibly next year too. It is not on their priority list at all. I won't buy this at 60. Maybe at 30 since we are getting half a game. I did the same with NBA. didn't pick it up until it was 29.99 on sale because it was half of a game. #halfgamehalfprice I would suggest everyone else wait too. this will be 39.99 or 29.99 at best buy within a month if everyone is patient. After playing the game a little more, I'd say it's a little better.
The game honestly looks good. I wouldn't put it in NBA 2K14's range, but it does the job.
If people are on the fence about this game, but you know deep down you want to get it....then get it. "Sticking it" to EA won't prove anything. Plus, it looks like this game game is going to get the UFC 'treatment' with big-time patches.
Voicing your displeasure is definitely okay, but if you know you want it, don't cheat yourself. The puck physics, the presentation, and overall gameplay is really fun.Comment

Sticking it to EA will prove everything, you are 100% incorrect I'm sorry to say. Thsoe of us that have been playing for years, since '92 in my case, and those of us that play a lot have been feeling let down recently, the gameplay has been basically the same for years and it is getting ridiculous. The goalies have been a joke for as long as I can remember. We need to show them how we feel by not buying it, and tell them how we feel and why in the forums ... it's the only way, otherwise we're telling them it's ok to give us half a product with very little in the respect to gameplay evolution. After playing the game a little more, I'd say it's a little better.

Re: Are the graphics better than in the demo or not (PS4)??
After anxiously waiting since the PS4 launch for EA to release their "next-gen" hockey game, I cannot believe that the day is finally here and yet I decided NOT to buy it. Its hard to believe really, as much as I enjoyed hockey games in the past and was really excited for this game for soooo long.
But I just can't get past how the graphics to me look low-res, blurry and hazy. I enjoyed the gameplay in the demo, but I didn't buy a next-gen system to play something that looks like this on it. What a disappointment, but I'm sticking to it. I will look to pick it up used for half price because I do think the gameplay itself is fun, even if not next gen in and off itself. But I feel the need to vote with my money and not buy it new - so I'm not going to.Comment

Re: Are the graphics better than in the demo or not (PS4)??
I have the game on PS4, the graphics are excellent, crystal clear and sharp.
I played the demos on both systems and early access on xbox one.
If you're seeing washed out blurry graphics you really need to adjust the settings on your tv. The Xbox and PS4 versions are pretty much identical as far as I can tell.
I have adjusted my TV for the xbox input and the ps4 input to get it the way I want it. If you didn't do any adjustments to your consoles inputs you're probably just thinking it's better on xbox because of the color pop gamma thing. I think they both look good, but if you adjust your settings you can make the ps4 version "pop" exactly like the xbox version if that's what you're looking for.Comment

is there a way on PS4 to set it up so the colors pop out like the xb1? If so can you let me know how to do that?Comment

2kguy - on any system, this game is not true next gen looking. We'll argue which system it looks better on, but one thing we can all agree on, is that this game is nowhere close to NBA, MLB, and Madden 15 when it comes to a next gen graphical experience.Comment

Re: Are the graphics better than in the demo or not (PS4)??
Extremely disappointed with the blurriness. Played the demos on Xboxone and PS4, early release on the XboxOne, decided that the issue would be resolved on the PS4....nope.
I shouldn't have to adjust my settings for this game, when every other game looks fantastic on my tv as is!
The colors do not pop like the XboxOne version nor look as crisp as it did for me...thats just a fact as I have the majority of my games for PS4 so its not a console war etc...
Very frustrated.Comment

The graphics look fine to me on the PS4. The demo had a foggy washed out look but the final product does look more sharp to me."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: Are the graphics better than in the demo or not (PS4)??
It looks much better then the demo! The ice is actually all scuffed up finally now when you skate over it. It looks really really nice imo... Im really enjoying the game. This game would have been a home run if it had eashl.. However with 5v5 otp coming next month Im not to upset. And I sure do really enjoy BaP. The new menus and everything is really nice on my eyes.Comment

Re: Are the graphics better than in the demo or not (PS4)??
I think people are mixing up general sharpness / colour and player models.
I have the PS4 version and everything EXCEPT the players looks razor sharp. Starting from the score overlay, moving to crowds, ice, etc - everything is beautiful and correctly represented from a colour / contrast / hue / exposure perspective.
The notable exception is the player models. They do indeed look a bit fuzzy and a bit light (from a colour / contrast perspective), almost as if they are overexposed. I guess there is some sort of limitation that the development team have not been able to overcome, because in contrast player models in FIFA for example look absolutely razor sharp on PS4.Comment

Re: Are the graphics better than in the demo or not (PS4)??
"Everything but the players look sharp". That's a pretty bad thing not look sharp isn't it? I mean the players are naturally what my eyes gravitate to. The player models are so blurry and washed out in my opinion that I switched my camera view. On the dynamic high view it looks so much better (because the men become smaller) with the camera away from the players, but I shouldn't have to do that.I think people are mixing up general sharpness / colour and player models.

Re: Are the graphics better than in the demo or not (PS4)??
Wrote this is the other thread..
Changing all of those colors to Full and not limited/automatic helped BIG time..
Try changing to those values...Do not see any haziness etc and colors aren't dull anymore for meComment
