Is there a button to push to do the one timer slap shot . I have been playing for awhile now but cannot figure out how to do it. Or is it just timing based and the buttons for a normal slapshot?

Pass to the guy you want and before the puck gets to him snap the right analog stick up.

Do you not have to wind up? Like press back on the right analog stick and then forward? Usually when I just push up its just a normal shot or it's delayed and he swings and misses

I just purchased this game for PS4. A while back I think I recall there being a problem with sliders resetting in the Be A GM Mode. Is this still happening or was I mistaken?

Hey Guys,

Looking for a little help here...

I currently switched from Allstar / Simulation to Allstar / Hardcore and cannot score for the life of me. When I was playing simulation it just wasn't very realistic as I was scoring 4+ goals a game, but now since switching to Hardcore, I cannot score unless I'm the Blackhawks. I am starting to get very frustrated and almost want to quit playing the game because of it.

Some info:

I did lower the AI for CPU goalie reaction speed to 3 and increased CPU goalie screen effect to 4.

I average about 60-65% passing and about 30 shots a game.

I also like to play as some of the worst teams in the game (Edmonton, etc.) and try to make them better as I like a challenge. However, there is no way and I don't think I am that bad, to be shutout or only score 1 goal every game I play.

Any help/tips would be appreciated.

Is there a way to change your faceoff alignment? I remember being able to set it to Normal, Defensive, or Aggressive I think in 13 by holding L2 and using the left stick.

Im considering getting the game. Im not a huge hockey fan at all and the last NHL game I got was NHL 12. The one thing I want to know is did EA keep the legends in the offline portion of the game. I know they are in Ultimate Team but as someone who doesn't do online gaming is there a way to use legend players in GM Mode or things of that sort or was the legends team one of the things they removed.

I believe it is square to bring up the defensive lines and then the bottom option under there you can cycle through the face-off formations.

It's actually under the offensive lines (circle) but thanks for getting me on the right track.

No. It´s too expensive in my opinion.
There is still a lack of content an no sign from EA to correct it in the near future.

You can get it for under $25 through EA themselves and at most retailers.

So I did the draft. And made a trade. For Aaron ekblad. But ekblad doesn't show up on my team... He shows up under my contracts and in the trade screen. But not under my roster management. Not in the NHL or system. Wtf happened ? I can't add him to the main roster. Any ideas ?

Yup, and because this game is so awful it neglects to tell you that or even allow you to bring him up to the NHL like you most likely would in real life.
