Re: Eichel in Be A GM draft - possible workaround

I've done this for 3 years now, all on XBox 360.

The first thing you have to do when creating the player, is to switch the Pro Team from Anaheim to "None." That fixes any errors with them not showing up in the draft and having their rights assigned to an NHL team.

Also, if you want a specific OVR rating, you need to go back and edit the player after you initially create them. For some reason, the game lowers their OVR after the initial creation.

Also, the game will only allow you to draft a created player if they are 16 or 17, have their Pro Team set to "None," and are on any OHL/QMJHL/WHL roster. All 3 things must be exactly like that for it work properly.

Hope this helps answer all the questions.

Haven't been able to get anyone into the draft yet on the PS4 version, but I will keep working at it. It is quite easy to do on the PS3/xbox360, but I haven't figured it out yet on next gen...
      Phoenix Coyotes
      Buffalo Sabres
      Edmonton Oilers
      Yes... It is a struggle.

I'm gonna try again, I think I can get a CAP on an OHL team or at worst free agency without any duplicates

...I can't see why EA can't patch in the edit player options, they did it with this years madden

I'd play this SOB night and day if I could edit my own rosters...

someone has a CAP for Eichel (here's the link: http://www.operationsports.com/forum...yer-build.html )

            I'm looking for Hanifin now.

Worst case scenario, I'll build him like PetrPucks Seth Jones build, except I'll make Hanifin a two way defender, because he has solid offensive and defensive game.

If you want to take my route for Hanifin, go to PetrPucks NHL 13 CAPs and he should be in the draft prospects section
