About me: Offensive defenseman who likes to QB the PP. I can also stay at home. Scoring and acquiring points isn't a big deal to me and I won't pinch unless there is an opening and I can communicate it with the wingers. Like taking low slapshots from the blue line area in hopes of a tip or long rebound off of the pad.

I have a mic, but I'm not super chatty. Please don't take my silence as stand-offish haha

See, this is the same boat I'm in. I don't play online often and am probably not very good. I would like to join up with a team though!

About: Enforcer. Ideally, a hard-hitting, defensive-minded defenseman who isn't afraid to goon it up (but only when the occasion calls for it). Otherwise, trying to learn the position and play respectfully.

Position - any except goalie (prefer D)
About - I will not have the game until sometime Thursday. I ordered a used copy from ebay because I traded my original copy in a few weeks ago. I have also never played EASHL. Hockey is usually the only game I buy and play each year. Online vs is basically the only mode I played in NHL 15.

Position Primary: Winger - Prefer a playmaking style, like to forecheck and try to apply pressure, can also do 2-way forward and power forward to crash the net and create screens/deflections
Position Secondary: Defense - 2-way or Defensive D-man, whichever is needed more although I do prefer the 2-way game with more passing opportunities.
About: I'm 30, long time NHL series fan, mostly played offline with some games of OTP in previous gen. I pretty much just play GM mode with friends on position lock. Dunno how good I'll be but I'm aiming for a team oriented playstyle! I live in Finland, but work nights so I'm available usually afternoon to late night EST on my days off. Ping might be an issue if playing with west coast folks, I dunno how the EA servers work for the beta.

That's the beauty of EASHL. Even if you're bad, you get to improve, play a role in a team and work hard for those wins. It might be tougher the first couple of days until good clubs climb the division ladder, but I'm certain there is plenty of fun to be had for players at every skill level.

It's a completely different game. Especially once you get 6v6s going. It makes offline play super boring once you've tasted victory through adversity though :-)
