Ive asked this question multiple times. Its either no one knowsor cares to answer it. Im also curious about this.

I have to assume you can since the AHL is playable this year, isn't it?

I dont think you can. Pretty sure you can only play with your franchise team. For all its worth, on the Q&A on easports.com it says they will keep track of AHL stats in GM mode.

Yes it is. Only reason I was comcerned is because someone posted you could not see AHL stats, just wanted someone to comfirm you could. Because everywhere else I read, supposedly AHl stats are indeed available.

Yes, AHL stat tracking is in. It's the same as for your NHL team. You just press "option" on PS4 and it switches everything to the AHL.

I'd say it's up to par with last gen. Sim stats looks pretty good, stuff seems to work, players morale doesn't seem to break the mode in any way. I'm happy to have it back in working order.

For me the gameplay right now is where the major issues are.

It seems from what I hear the only thing missing in Be a GM is the ability to start pre draft. I really liked that!

I have already covered this in another post/rant on a different thread, but... GM mode, in my opinion, is bad. The new morale system feels like a forced, uninspired addition (because it seems like every sports game needs it now for some reason), player/team meetings are nothing more than a repetitive guessing game with little variety, the scouting lacks any depth or strategy, every NHL team is above an 85 in attacking/defending/goaltending, yet below a 95 in all of them as well... which means superstars don't stand out as much as they should, and it's harder to discern the difference between a good team from a bad team. Yeah you can edit players now which is a welcome addition but that's a lot of work and really something I shouldn't have to do (at least not to this extent).

Be a GM doesn't need a morale system. It needs a complete overhaul. It needs more responsive menus, more interactive scouting and free agency, better sim times, bigger draft build-up (maybe a top prospects game? Prospect stats? Idk. Anything is better than what we get now), bigger ratings variance (you have a 0-100 ratings scale... use it properly), maybe some kind of training camp report/activities, a more inspired all-star weekend (skills competitions anyone?).... the list goes on.

That's correct. Totally sucks. I'd be curious to hear what their justification was for removing it. For that reason alone, I refuse to pay full price for this release.

I'll post a short review abit later on what I think, was actually abit of a shock to see the amazon pouch come through the door today as for some reason I thought NHL wasn't released here for another week (England).

Can anyone confirm if you really cant see other teams lines in GM mode? EA is ridiculous with missing basic stuff. I think I already know this is true but posting it just to make sure. I cant find other teams lines anywhere. EA is a joke! This game could actually be pretty good, if they tightened up the simple stuff.

Can you create a team and import it over another team for gm mode? I've been playing NHL 13 on PS3 for last couple years. I create the Seattle totems with my own custom colors and everything and import them over another team for franchise mode

If 16 has this ill go buy it immediately!!

Anyone else notice that the goalie stats screen is all wonky with its formatting. You can't see the whole GAA number because the columns are too narrow. Stuff like this bugs me.

It's been like that for years. What also bugs me is the fact that the stats are auto-set to the far right when you look at them, making you scroll all the way to the left in order to see things like GAA and S%.
