I bought the digital version of nhl on thursday. I like it for the most part accept that the a.i ruins the experience for me alot of the time. I get to many breakaways by the opposing team and too many stupid goals from impossible angle and one timers goals from close in that look stupid. and also dumb glitches where the puck goes in off the defender. does anyone know how to make the game play more realistic. these issues have plagued the series for years and it spoils the realism of the game. if this game had the defensive realism of the old 2k hockey series then it would be the greatest hockey game ever. ea should bring over the developers of the nhl 2k series and teach them how to develop a game that as good gameplay wise as it is graphically. I hope i see in my life time.

Hi,
Probably not the answer your looking for but I enjoy the game on Near default AllStar to best enjoy what EA NHL programmed and other than that I play with classic view and adjust the volumes a tad to make it sound more like your at the arena .
I find people waste too much time trying to paint the perfect picture instead of just enjoying what the Game company created as a tweak here or there and you could be chasing your tail most of the season instead of enjoying the game but thats just me.
Slider wise AlTitio and Mizz probably have to of the better sliders to choose from as Altito paints a pretty picture but Mizz keep more of the default style of what EA programmed on allstar.
