Wow some list. I have to say I know some out there will never like the series and always bash EA, but I'm impressed at the effort EA has put in the past 2 years trying to improve the series and listening to the hardcore fans of the sport. The game changer events and betas have been big reasons for this. I'm really looking forward to the games release.

Since the patch just came out this morning, now I think they need to reset all our clocks back to 10 hours of early access trial time.

Can anyone comment on the new, louder, crowd reactions?
Someone mentioned that they weren't loud enough. Has the latest patch improved on that?

They seemed louder but it was the first time I played the game with ear buds plugged into the controller. I will play with sound from my tv again soon and check it out.

I wish this was the case. I get a strong feeling like EA left a bunch of tweaks out of this build that were on the beta build, just so they could say "hey look at all the stuff we're tweaking".

I don't want to feel that way, truly, I've supported this series for a long time. I call them out on BS but I still buy it every year because I love the game of hockey.

I will still hold my final judgement until after the patch, but before this patch, this build played NOTHING like the beta. And I really enjoyed the beta and all of the little things they seemed to fix. For whatever reason, this EA Access build plays as if all of those changes were thrown out the window; aka, right now, this game plays exactly like 16'.

Here's hoping the patch brings those changes back, no matter how small, because IMO they added up. And as of now I do plan to buy the game. But please, EA, you're almost to the level of insulting.

Can anybody with the game tell me if the Atlanta Thrashers logo is now in the game since you can relocate to Atlanta. Thanks

• Better defensive coverage on the strong side winger on the breakout.
• Improved AI defense when they are on the PP with the man advantage. Use the extra man to minimize the PK team’s effort with the puck.

I like these

I can confirm that the patch has worsened, not helped, cpu defensive AI. The CPU is easier to break-down now.

Where is the patch? When I start the game I only get notice of tuning update, which is 1.0?

A way to check if u have the patch is go into sliders and see if there is a pass minimum speed. The original code only had pass speed and after patch there is a seperate min and max pass speed.

Thanks. I guess I already have it. But strange since it was there when I first installed game.
