am thinking of adjusting my sliders just like the way I have my player sliders, I go post them to see what you guys think of them, I also lowered the time limit to 6 Minutes from: 7 minutes.

I know it's been almost a year since the last post but....

I'm a noob on these forums, so cant post my own threads yet. I've been scouring these threads tho...so much info! Hope you don't mind if I ask here...

I played goalie in my teens & twenties, and gamed on EA NHL 09, 14 & 15. Instead of going to PS4, I built a mean PC gaming rig, but am now reconsidering. EA NHL will likely never go back to PC

That said, is 2017 the best year for being a BAP goalie? I've read some people saying 2009 was the best lol...and that it just got worse year after year after that.

I play offline in 2015 now and get trounced pretty regularly, even after training for hours...its pretty frustrating! Its also frustrating to read that guys with 99 stats still struggle.

Should I invest in 2017 and just keep at it? Buy a cheap copy of 2009 instead? I really only care about being a sufficient BAP goalie...graphics etc not truly that important to me.

just something I should tell you about NHL 17 and Be A Pro Sliders, there's issue with the sliders, where they don't keep there values, so I suggest you do this everytime:


1. put the sliders in be a pro sliders
2. before logging into the game
3. go to game settings
4. check the game sliders (rules & visual & controller settings etc...)
5. make sure you have photographic memory
6. check what sliders out of place
7. put them back to your sliders (or mine in that case)
8. you have to do this every game
9. start the game and have fun!
10. check what I have my shot aims I have set at (aim assist or manual)

there both very good sliders his is more challenging then mine, he likes to play higher difficulties of cpu difficulty adjustments, I recommend him to you my friend.


am also looking at my be a pro superstar: full sim goalie slider nhl 17, I just had 18 shots (me) and 10 shots (cpu), am leading 2-0 at end of first, now I've changed the shot aim: aim assist (not manual), results am getting are terrific, I had to take break from it, I just gotta play few games and stuff to see this through.

A setback again for Be A Pro Superstar: Full Sim Goalie Slider, It seems Superstar is harder then... I thought it was, out of all the sliders I tried none of them worked, it seems like I get head 2-1 and then end up loosing 5-2, I just don't get it, I can figure out all-star: full sim, but super star: full sim, I fall flat on my face .

I can't seem to play goalie, year in and year out I try and continue to stink. My last game wasn't bad, 6 goals in 20 shots.. Yikes.

haven't updated them in ages, for while there , it was awesome to play 20 minutes on goalies, now it seems its hard as hell, am allowing more goals then ever, but here's the thing between Full Sim and Sim, one Full Sim you can't, but in Sim I was able too with greatest of easy, go figure..., same with player I was able to play franchise 20 minutes, its so hard, AI CPU is using Strategy I've never seen before, its the old 3-2 strategy, 2 guys at blue line and 1 and right in front of goalie.


I was gonna make post about this EA Sports regarding the Full Attack and High Pressure and usage of 3-2 strategies of AI CPU.
