    Player Progression in NHL 18

It might be a little early to talk about wishes for NHL 18, but I've been very disappointed with the player progression system since I started playing the GM (franchise) mode in NHL 15. And it hasn't been updated ever since.

I'm a Panthers fan so I play lots of franchise mode with them. Every year I run to the same issue that eventually makes me quit the game for months; the players don't develop as they should.

Especially in NHL 17, a player seemingly can't overgrow his potential. It's kind of annoying to have a 19 year old who's doing very well for you in game just never grow. For instance Denis Malgin has 2x 80+ points seasons in the AHL and a 35 point season in the NHL and he hasn't developed a single point. Meanwhile Seth Griffith had throughoutly sucked for the past seasons and yet jumped from 79 overall to 84 overall.

What I suggest for NHL 18 is a more flexible potential that depends more on how a player performs and obviously good performances can change the potential. On top of that the weekly player training system from Fifa would be more than welcome. That way we could help players grow in some stats even of they've already reached their potential.
