Even though I love hockey, I'll be waiting for this game to hit the EA Locker. It's shameful that year after year, we get the same gameplay. We're circling around pucks that user controlled players can't seem to see. We're getting the same dumb goalies that let slow picks get to the back of the net, and graphics/player models are disgustingly clunky and similar. There's still no Hockey IQ needed for this game, board play is atrocious, the "rush" or setup of offense is still lacking, tremendously. I just had a guy score 4 goals taking 4 foot slap shots lmao.

Not to mention, they allow All-Star teams to be picked in H2H online, and you don't have an option to see your opponent's team prior to the game starting. Why would that even be allowed? I could t imagine seeing madden letting users have Pro-Bowl teams in ranked matches. NHL has been awful since the new generation, and I'm losing faith in anyone involved with the development of the game.

It's why I'm trying to only buy sports games every other, or every 3rd year.
The improvements are so minute, it's not worth spending $90 every year.

I'll likely pick this up when it's $20. The 3-on-3 sounds like a blast.
