Scout accuracy is represented by the horizontal bars. Rather, high and low are more like how likely a player is to reach that level.

I also compared the role scale that EA posted with what is actually reflected in game as I did work on the TrueSim rosters. I found these roles and OVR scales to be more accurate/reliable:

    Forwards
    Elite (90+)
    1st Line (88-90)
    Top 6 (84-87)
    Top 9 (81-83)
    Bottom 6 (79-81)
    Depth (76-78)

    D-Men
    Elite (90+)
    Top 2 (87-90)
    Top 4 (81-86)
    Top 6 (78-80)
    7th (75-77)

    Goalies
    Elite (90+)
    Starter (81-89)
    NHL Backup (77-80)
    AHL Starter (73-76)
Question for you.. Are you saying a player will NOT grow after age 25?

I can say will 100% certainty that is NOT true.. at least in NHL 21 its not true at all. NHL 18 I have no idea and to be honest why would anyone still be playing NHL 18 when NHL 21 is so superior.

There are three types of growth:
      Natural Growth
      Statistical Growth
      Morale Growth

Natural growth stops by 25/26 (I forget what exact age is), but players can still improve by having good statistical seasons or because of high morale.

I just cannot believe, am age 21 as a goalie, am like 95 overall, in be a pro in NHL 21, I must've been doing something right, I like games where am the highest-rated person on the team, boy... sure was a grind to get to goalie overall 95.

am glad I did it though, I've never been this high before.
