Got around to a little pre-deadline list update.

Once again, anyone want to take over next year? If you don't think it's worth it, no need to share. Just let me know if you're interested. Otherwise I will share with EA that you guys wanted all NHLers to have generic faces in NHL 2020.

I am intressted. For me it is a must to have much, much more player likenesses into the game. It’s one of my main points. Otherwise will not buy this game.

I feel the same way,with so many programs out there for making faces like game face there is no excuse for not having most players faces look like themselves.Give people the tools and roster sharing and we would have a very realistic looking game.If players don't come in for a face scan just use a program to make their likeness.The old PC games 15 to 20 years ago used to have cyber facemakers.I remember almost having full teams with all their faces.In this day and age we should be able to do the same if not better.

The problem is that EA wants to bring every scanned face and every small graphic detail as a massive big success with much work to do. See the statement of community manager Horsefall on Twitter as they added Petterssons face. This company worked since years mostly on gameplay or to bring gimmick modes like Pond Hockey or 3vs3, graphic details ( Jerseys, faces, Goalie masks, Pads, glives, sticks ... ) where rarely added and mostly it was a copy and paste job from issue to issue. Art department is mostly busy to create frames for new Hut cards. I would like that 2K will start to produce a Hockey game. If there is a rivalry EA need to do much more.

Agree 100%.I am not going to judge people,but I tried chel once and can't be bothered about hut.As I said before they are ignoring the customers that have made this company and that's offline gamers.

I counted 28 right now, I also went back to the previous years. Seems around about 30 has be standard for the last 2 years as well. 2016 they added only like 14 and the years before that 16 and 17. Just for the record lol

So by now there are around 40 new faces this year. This seems like a new record of new faces in 1 year at least, as I counted before going back till NHL 14. For NHL 18 and 17 it was already more than it used to be. SO here is hoping the keep this going next year we get another 50+ and for the first I'd consider the amount actually barely acceptable.

That being said, they of course should have nearly all NHL players scanned, look at the PL and La Liga in Fifa, look at NBA 2k, NBA live, MLB The Show. All those have a way higher percentage of real faces!

So by now there are around 40 new faces this year. This seems like a new record of new faces in 1 year at least, as I counted before going back till NHL 14. For NHL 18 and 17 it was already more than it used to be. SO here is hoping the keep this going next year we get another 50+ and for the first I'd consider the amount actually barely acceptable.

I did see now that there is a new Roster update available from Feb.14. Checking now about new face scans, but found nothing till now. In last years issue 18 they made a pic update for missing player pics at mid Feb. too. This year nothing ! Many important player pics are missing .... Bode Wilde, Adam Boqvist, Trent Frederic, Ryan Donato and more

yea just quickly counted without double-checking so I Knew I could have been off by 1 or 2.. so 38 it is. Still the most they have added in many years. That's way I'm hoping next year it might even be a bit more.

I was first getting into NHL series around 2000, playing on PC. Back then nearly all players had their real faces by default. I guess created from photos and no fancy full headscans or anything but I much preferred it that way.

Saw this last week and wanted to get back to you sooner. A little after free agency I’ll slide up in your dms with a HTML format of the list with up to date rosters. That way you can monitor transactions and update offline up until the BETA for NHL 20 comes out assuming they release one once again. If not I would usually post around when the game is set to launch and keep updating throughout the first couple of weeks as people contribute. I’ll continue to contribute as much as possible as well. Happy you’re willing to carry this on for all of us who enjoy it!

Hey guys, I got some brand spankin’ new logos in for every team and before going the whole way, I wanted to get some quick feedback. Do you guys find the list of names going downwards (teams A-F) better looking side to side (teams L-End)? I personally think it reads better on mobile but if you guys hate it I’ll revert to the old way.

... Made an executive decision. I like it this way. It's tidier and looks fresh.
