I didn't said that. Pro Difficulty on Broadcast Camera angle is a challenge for me, too. But, on any other popular camera angles, Pro Difficulty is too easy. So, the reason why you think Pro Difficulty is hard might be you're using the Broadcast Camera, right ?

No, the reason was, i am a decadent mid-life boomer hoe didn´t play games with focus on reaction skills for 20 years and thought it would be nice, to play nhl again like in the nineties...so learning curve was very slow and it takes a lot of games against the cpu to make advantages. With hybrid controls the two mistakes i made:

1. Only score one-timers because it takes ages i understand how to manage wrist shots effectively.

2. In the defense i always attacked the player with the puck instead of the the passing lines.

The last few days i finally got it. Now winning 8 or 9 games from 10. So now i am at least at the point from many offline players...and it´s right: Now i need to config the allstar-difficulty....

I havent played the game since about 2016. I am a casual hockey fan who really likes dirty gameplay. Im pleasantly surprised with how good this game is (as a franchise/season player).

With the right slider settings, this game can be be really unstructured. The puck is live, passes miss, you can be knocked off the puck without an elaborate check. Positioning counts. You watch teams cycle the puck. There's heaps of new subtle checking and shooting animations. The players feel more differentiated than they were 4 years ago.

Like I said, Im not as knowledgable about hockey as I am with NBA so Im sure lots of you see shortcomings I don't, but Im having a really good time.

I'm loving this game and I've played them all. I lowered the game speed down a notch to two and it's perfect. Every single game is different, each team plays a style like their coaches listed system and even on PRO, the CPU shoots the puck now. I've scored so many types of goals and the new animations are fantastic. NHL 20 is great!

I'll jump on the pile that loves this game. Every game is exciting, unlike any past version. Also notice my AI teammates doing some great checking, puck steals. Never saw that before. I've had the commentary turned off for years because I hated it's repetivieness. Not anymore, love these guys getting all excited, it makes the game more intense for me. Heard Cybulski in OT say 'He's got the game on his stick' as I got a good scoring chance. Love those contextual comments.
Goalies are good, gameplay animations excellent as the gameplay is nonstop riveting and challenging my skills. Alumni teams a great addition.
I'm an offline player mostly and am now hooked on Squad Battles. I'd stopped playing any version where I couldn't play locked position, but this has got me back into it. Finally a reason to play HUT.
Finally a game that simulates the true spirit of hockey.

Are you guys saying gameplay is fun in an arcade way or in a realistic way?

I stopped playing because I could not play a 20 min period with realistic statistics (particularly shots) like you can with virtually every other sports title. Can you now do this?

I stopped playing because a major part of hockey is board play and cycling. Does the CPU now do this?

The neutral zone play is a huge party of hockey. I stopped playing because the CPU circles in the neutral zone when it should dump and chase or doesn't properly attack the blue line. Does CPU now do this?

I stopped playing because the CPU doesn't try to set up a scoring chance in a scoring area...it shoots largely at will. Does CPU now shoot with purpose?

I stopped playing because the CPU doesn't block shots consistently like IRL. Does CPU now block shots, particularly the ones with high shot block ratings?

I stopped playing because CPU skates with puck on stick like it is glued on and makes tic tac toe passes frequently. Does CPU now have realistic puck handling and passing animations?

Returned it....Cpu Cpu games there are zero fights...tried everything, returned it back to GameStop..
