EA has lost it's way and creates the same the same product year over year. The NHL series has regressed significantly. Player models and graphics are mediocre at best. The game play is laughable, neutral zone play is still a joke. The NHL 2K series games from 2008 and 2010 play way more authentic than this cash grab product. This year's supposed trailer is a highlight reel. Now you give some sort of marketing plan to show off your features. Fire the marketing department, it's a joke.

I remember being at the dealership to buy a car. The guy, for some reason, kept going on and on about how many cup holders the vehicle had.

This is how I feel about most of what this title is rolling out...

I said it once and I'll say it again. GARBAGE!

EA you need to fire the entire team working on the game and hire someone new to lead the way. We're getting the same garbage year in and year out. Both gameplay and franchise modes need a revamp. I've been purchasing your games for more than 10 years now. Last year was the first time I didn't buy your NHL game. The trend will continue this year after seeing your trailer and hearing a little more about the game. You're only alienating your long time fans of the game and losing customers. WAKE UP!!!

First off, *These dates are subject to change*??? They don't even have a date. They have a vague timeline.

I'm not a marketing expert, but I'm assuming that pre-sales are very important to companies that create video games. From that, who is really going to be foolish enough to go out and pre-order a copy of this game when you're not even going to hear about 2 of the 3 main modes in the game talked about until *Early October* (which is subject to change...)?

I'm optimistic because it kind of appears as though franchise mode will have it's own day, but even that is vague. "An new, exciting trade deadline!". Didn't we have that a few years ago?

Man, I hate ranting, and try not to because there are so many who already say what most of us are thinking, but really, how can a company be so blatantly oblivious to their consumer base?

This is proof that they literally don't even have a clue how hockey and player development work. There's not a superstar in the league that started out as a "chippy bottom six forward." You're either a high-end skill player or an energizing grinder type. There's not a single player that starts his career as an energy-bringing 4th liner that stays in the league by hustling and winning puck battles, and then magically develops an elite set of hands and turns into a 110 point scorer that avoids contact and physical play. Try following hockey, EA.

Absolutely no reason to actually be optimistic.

They've rolled out sub par releases basically this entire console generation and with a new generation about to launch, it stands to reason they've mailed it in for 2021 and already have people working on a next-gen game.
