Gameplay is fantastic! Just had a really intense game (Blues) against the Golden Knights. There was very little ice to move around as both teams were very aggressive. I lost 5-3 but it was such a back in forth game.

so glad to hear this. I'm really enjoying the gameplay we have in NHL 21!

After the patch I don't see too much difference yet. If anything I feel like CPU defensemen are more aggressive at attacking the user when in the zone. That's a very good thing. I remember vividly in this last game I played where I had the puck with Fiala going down the boards and Tyler Myers went right at him and stripped him of the puck and led a rush the other way. It was really awesome even though in real life I'm sure Myers would have found a way to take a penalty

I have yet to play with the new tuner. I'm very curious but at the same time I don't want to ruin what i have going even though I know I can go back to what I'm using now. I'll probably wait to see if there are any impressions.

What I can say is I'm 10-13-2 in my Wild franchise and have played every minute of every game so far. I haven't played 25 games in the past 6 or 7 years combined I'd bet.

What difficulty was this on? I’m hoping on Pro so that I don’t have to go on All-Star and decrease CPU cheese.

Any gameplay reaction to the patch? I’m not able to play till Sunday but I read over on the EA forum that the patch is a step in the right direction.

It's fantastic....game is better than ever. I just played 6 games and I just want to keep playing it.

Well i had been playing on tuner 1.0 but now i'm finally playing on the newest tuner and just seeing a better game. Every game is competitive and I don't feel i'm getting cheated. Seeing great animations, some great goaltending, really good board play...for me it's just giving me such a great game of hockey.

The CPU is playing smarter, especially with the way they defend the way you exit your defensive zone and the way they suffocate you in the neutral zone...you no longer have a free pass to exit your zone and get into their zone

You need to use real hockey strategy in order to create offense, you gotta use the short passes and make smart passes, you need to chip pucks in, you need to cycle .....ultimately you need to work hard for your goals, they are earned now

Your posting this with zero context. Both of those players are at the NHL level. What are their numbers for the year? Are the producing big?

If you don’t think teams over pay at the deadline. Look at what the islanders gave up for Pageau. Pageau other than his career year last season, is a third line guy who can help out in the power play. The islanders gave up a first, a second, and a third round pick for that. Pageau is rated between a 79-82 in game if I remember correctly. I am failing to see what the problem is

Context: in this franchise, I am not making any trades. I am building my team only with my 7 draft picks, which is why Huxley and Jarvis are playing in the NHL but they are getting hammered every year. I believe in this season, Huxley had 0 goals.

AWFUL BUG THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED

Editing lines locks up when you have to replace a player

Just totally screwed me at the end of a game....had an injury and it forced me to edit lines before I could save the game

I'm stuck and nothing works, just staring at

What kind of new animation ? The cutscenes during the Game are the same as in NHL 20. Did I oversee some ? I had the trial version for 10 hour only. Plz tell what kind of cutscenes during the Game are new comparing with NHL 20. Also wat to know if this bug Popup from Career Points during the Game is removed ? Are the Goalie Fights as seen in NHL 20 also removed ?

He’s not talking about cutscenes... he’s talking about gameplay animations. Different movements from the players on the ice...

Nope..3 stars are now shown in video format when the game is over and your back at the results screen. Pretty freaking cool how it’s done actually
