Keeen to find out whats been actually added (one poster has said that new patch now included Kaprizov play by play name?...wonder if it has corrected the "home announcers" only calling Austin Matthews and Pavel Buchnevich by thier numbers?)
After spending 3 months getting the game playing at least "decent", I am very reluctant to download the NEW Patch in fear that it knocks it out of whack ...

Can any users that have downloaded the patch let me know thier findings?

The True goalie equipment being in the game is a huge addition

Can anyone confirm as yet if the NEW PATCH knocks anything out of whack....I am so excited to see the new stuff, but Cowardly reluctant in fear that it messes up my current settings.

Apologies for my ignorance, but have we ever been given a definitive answer on whether or not the patches/updates are applicable to Franchise Modes already in progress? If anyone knows, I'd appreciate it.

I know most of the jersey and arena updates are linked to roster updates - would be really lame to have to restart a Franchise just to access the update and even more so to have to re-edit rosters again. That said, nice to see the new equipment and a few solid tuning changes.

Did you have any luck with this?

Did they change something with the fog of war Player attribute/rating bars at the latest patch ? Started a new Franchise with fog of war on and saw that all attributes and rating bars from the NHL and most of AHL Players show all four bars. So means that their all is 100% visible. That wasn’t before the Patch. You needed to scout the NHL and AHL Player to get their real strength. Someone noticed the same ?

Nope. That about sums up what EA thinks of this game. It's NHL Hitz without the fun factor.

It's a bug. At first I thought it was a 100% of the time thing because my first three games with those teams had the goalies without masks, but the fourth and several afterward had them.

I must be on crack or something, so I updated my controller and decided to try 20 minutes goalie sliders just for ack of it, next thing... we are tied 1-1 after one. am using completely different from ones of 10 minutes. am gonna see second period is next. I couldn't tell if I ate a mushroom. XD!

The newly inserted Kaprizov play by play audio is linked to the Roster update, not the Patch, so if you are half way through your Franchise or Season, it won't be audible in your current saved game.

Yeah stuff tied to rosters is frustrating. Can't seem to get Penguins third to show up unless the latest online is set as my active. Still just playing play now with a custom roster until TrueSim drops for franchise. IIRC, I can start that with custom, set online as active, then the new jerseys will be there. But thinking I'm SOL for play now.

Can  I edit the Mens  and Women’s IIHF players?
