Unfortunately they’re only on the newest roster file…

If I’m using a custom roster will it ever be available on it, or only newer rosters?

The new PS4 patch has apparently done something to faceoffs. I’ve lost 27 of 30 through 2 periods.

As of right now only rosters started with todays file as it’s base will have the new uniforms. Unless ea drops another patch, previously created rosters won’t see them

Adding the international woman's teams is a great addition to the game Imo. I did see a bug where the goalies do not have masks. No big deal but hurts the immursion.

they got true equipment wrong, goalies pads have white texture, and the bottom of the pad has a rounded edge and not a straight edge its post to be a straight edge.

and what else goalie monkey has all of the textures moddable and EA Sports got it all wrong.

shoot and pass bias for players was disappointing all of the players are set at 7, I also kinda wish there was a slider too for the shoot and pass bias, does EA Sports not calibrate this for all players in league, nope they just leave at 7 and like no one would notice this.

Saw this as well. It's been like that every game I tried with the women so far. Odd oversight considering it's one of the main draws of the patch from a casual perspective.

I’m creating a team for my wife of all women and I can’t seem to add the women added in the patch to a create a team roster, does anybody know if such a thing is possible or are the women only available via IIHF?

am using ea sports roster on January 27, just checked Austin Mathews is at 3, wow he shots a lot, I don't understand why is everyone else like at 6-12?

I don't understand what the deal is. They added the new Red Wings arena (LCA) after NHL 17 released with a generic Detroit arena and it didn't even take long. If it's a sponsorship issue (USB holding things up) then make the new arena design and call it Islanders Arena or use some other generic name.

I'd guess it's not possible...there's definitely some limitations to where the game allows you to use the female players - basically, only against the other women's teams in the IIHF in Play Now, and in their own tournament mode. You can't even use them in practice mode. So it seems like not being able to access them for roster sharing is probably by design.

There's also some difference to how the game plays with the women's teams - the physics seem toned down to where it's pretty much impossible to knock someone down, so you're definitely not going to see the over-the-top physical play you see in the other modes. I'm actually kind of curious what they did under-the-hood to create that effect (because the sliders visible to the user didn't change). So far I haven't seen a physical contact penalty other than holding and interference, which will still get called if you hit a player without the puck no matter how weak the hit is. Am concerned that with hitting tuned down as much as it is, that charging and boarding will be non-existent in these modes. Stick infractions are called like they are on the men's side.

Edit: Okay, well....just saw an actual hit that knocked a player down. Clean, no penalty. So I guess it is in there, just a lot less common. Again, curious as to what they tweaked down under the hood.

Also, while the gender references in the commentary have been good for the most part, I did catch a "Canada gets their man out of the box as they go back to full strength" just now. Oops.

Yep, it would be nice if they’d at least let us know why it hasn’t been added and what the plan is going forward.
