Any possibility they'll add adding an online player into franchise games?

I know others will want an online franchise which is fine but I'm asking specifically to be able to play coop games inside my franchise with another user on their system.

I obviously want better gameplay, presentation, and graphics. However, My question is this: Are there any changes to BAP mode? That's all I play and it is getting very old. Also, pet peeve. Around the league scores "will they be implemented better? or are they the same for effect.. Let's say I'm in a playoff game, What in gods name are they showing scores from all teams in the league....

1. Is EA bringing back black eyes, cuts following fight scenes?
2. When are they including Winter Classic games? Long overdue.

Why are they doing motion capture in August? Surely that’s too late.

Additionally there’s some screens in the background (blurred). Menus look the same…

Any new legends or additions to custom franchise?

What part of the game did the dev team overhaul/change/enhance the most? Where was their focus? What aspect will we notice the biggest change?

Just a heads up that most modes-related stuff will have to wait but I did play the game and will be able to share thoughts in the near-ish future and can probably answer some of these Qs by then as well.

Any chance of getting option to remove helmets and option to choose 70’s style goalie masks do we can create more realistic 70’s and earlier seasons/rosters?

So from the sounds of it, Twitter is saying Ramjagsingh is off as lead developer and there are some folks from the old 2K days there now?

One of the guys was from NHL Hitz Pro, which was arguably one of the better hockey games produced from a gameplay and physics perspective (which is kind of shocking but if you go back and play it and ignore the hitz gimmick stuff, it’s a solid hockey game).

Also they finally did address Online Franchise/GM Connected for those that care. It’s not in for 24 because they want to totally redo it, but they are trying to get it back in at some point. It makes sense because as fun as GM Connected could’ve been, the UI and scheduling were absolutely brutal and the reason why most people stopped playing it to begin with.

Plus with needing to code it into the new game will take awhile I’d assume since it’s a brand new mode they are adding. Glad to see they addressed it for the part of the games players that have been asking for it to show it’s not totally gone on deaf ears.

Nicholas Shewchuk used to work on the 2K Hockey Game and he is currently a designer at EA. Wonder if he moved over to the NHL side?

I don't even care for an online franchise, just give me the ability to invite my buddy to a party and play co-op in an offline franchise. Unreal that this isn't a thing yet!

He worked on HUT last time I talked to him. Been awhile though.

Been wanting this for years. This game plays at its best in a coop mode but not with randos and cheap imitations of AI.
