I mean honestly.. How did the hip check not get fixed in this patch? This is on thing that's been a constant issue since the beta. They fix the B button speed boost check wise, but don't fix the X button hip check speed boost. Mind boggling!

BUT, Inglehart did say on Sleeves podcast, that he has been with this team for 2 years and he still has no idea how some of the coding works. LOL. He also stated how dated all of it is as well, if they fix one thing they have no idea what that fix might break elsewhere. Again, mind boggling.

It's like EA NHL Dev team has been building a plate of spaghetti code wise and hoping for the best.

I'm back to playing a 7 year old game in Fortnite and it's crazy how during that 7 years that it has existed how much worse the NHL game has got.

They said Hip checks after this Patch. They had to see what they broke after this patch.

yea i saw that too, he played a few games before update, i thought all they had to do was play one game , then they could add him.

How often do they do roster updates?

This update from an AHL prospective is terrible.

Yea he wouldn't be in Providence since he needs to sign a waiver but now that he played in Boston he should be in the next update. They most likely had a deadline date to submit it to Sony and Microsoft.

This appears to be more of an ECHL update from what I saw they only added a few in the AHL but thats due to the waiver forms players have to sign. Seems like they update them once a month but last month did have two so hopefully a new one comes out thanksgiving week would be smart for black friday shoppers getting the game.

I think it’s once every two weeks. The AHL updates usually don’t happen until end of November/early December. They wait to get most of the signees and then add all of those in at once I think.

That list of Franchise changes actually sounds...good?

Looked good, didn't deliver. I'm doing a Franchise Mode that I started after the patch, half the teams had under 40 contracts at the start of the season, and Colorado had only 27.

I been playing NHL 23 and its hip check is almost as broken what NHL 24. Its just harder to use, because its not one button. But you can totally just check and block others with no speed at all, its op.

Hopefully with next patch they get hip checks on a good level. I just wonder that its probably going to be very powerful even after fixes, but maybe not completely broken. That could make a game more playable, but one button hip check just might be too easy tool to use.
