I did see some new ECHL players. Mostly NCAA and USports guys - Warmuth and Wilson on Allen, Galloway on Atl, Gosselin on Cincy, etc.

I started 5-3-1 with the Lightning and like how my team is playing so far.

I like what I heard... how Coaches have added realistic play but I don't want to lose even my 8 game progress.

I am kind of torn between what to do.

Maybe I just need to pull the plug and cut my losses and restart .

I think I'm going to start over as well....I'm currently 17 games into my Bruins franchise but willing to take the hit if it means real coaches, real play style / systems, etc

I did notice they added mroe goalie equipment - couple more sets of TRUE like the Catlyst PX5

Are this now real looking coaches with real faces or only coaches names with generic faces ?

Appears they used the create a player and made the coaches that way.

Underrated change in this patch - the removal of the automatic "tunnel" flex goal celebration sequences. They can still happen, but only if the player initiates it right after a goal.

Somehow Paul Kariya and Guy Lafleur ended up in my franchise mode after I tried merging Vasy's rosters with the EA Update lol. Gonna have to start over.

I am 23 games into Year 1. Lord.....I want the real coaches now and all the different strategies playing out more true to life in franchise.

I think I can do this......keep my current file in case I am pissed we re-started LOL.

I restarted after 9 games with the Lightning.

I see that the Lightning actually play with a style that is different than from what I was using.

It actually teaches about the sport and how tactics work.

Other than the split second where you call a timeout, not really. I think now that they are included, we’ll see actual scans and more shots of them starting in next years game. I’m not expecting much else this year but happy to see them trending in the right direction with the adding of these features.

It’s another example of maybe it being better for them to take a year off from releasing so that they can get these features in from the start and put some more detail on them.
