Yes, a handful of AHL players were added along with some ECHL players.
Also, Jim Montgomery was removed from the game and a generic coach now loaded for them.ROSTERS

It would be nice if EA added a new twist to customization and allow custom created coaches. It wouldn't be hard. This would allow people to have a plethora of options in the coaching free agency pipeline (if and when an in-season change is needed), as well as maybe adding authentic assistants and AHL coaches to the game. Would not need licensing, similar to what we do as roster creators. There are just so many options about coaching I have been thinking of since they have added NHL coaches and now we are starting to see some of the coaching carousel. Also, when players retire, some begin their second career. This would be an increasingly interesting dynamic to a longer BeAGM mode. I have never played more than a second season in mine, I usually lose interest after year two because while the players change, the playing style really doesn't, however if you have an NHL veteran retire and they have a good hockey IQ (maybe another item that can be added to players), some make interesting coaches. I think i jinxed the blackhawks by writing michkovs rating went up. He scored the winning goal against them today.
