I watched the MLB Show trailer today and their version of be a pro starts in high school. The depth that could be added into the series.

As a long time buyer of the Show, I'm interested to see how that "depth" plays out. My understanding is that it'll be 2 games in High School, 4 games in College, and then it gets into the normal process.

I mean, it's never coming, but I'm gonna keep banging the "Let me do a franchise mode with the CHL" drum. Give me some of those "2-3 young guys and 43 draft picks for a few months of a 19 year old!" trades that those crazies pull off.

HS baseball is pretty much junior hockey. If they let us play full Junior seasons again, that would be a nice re-addition.

For sure but say you play the playoffs or a tournament and have to get drafted in the CHL then play those seasons then get drafted into the NHL.

Yea for the loaned players I moved them to the Q so the contracts would slide. That should be an option Loan Player to Europe Send to AHL Send to ECHL.

U can see the effect if u concentrade to much on Ulitmate team. Gameplay is too much towarts ultimate team.

Yeah I'll agree the NHL referees need proper representation in the game. It's ridiculous how every single NHL matchup the ref models are women 99% of the time and I think I've seen one black guy model. I think in real life there is one black ref and a couple linesmen but besides that they are literally all white men and it's absurd they don't have representation. It's a bizarre and honestly kind of offense move by the dev team

They also did the diversity crap with the coaches when you play custom teams and they're never the same you'll get everyone from an Egyptian to a Pakistani and Will Smith and Jackie Chan ?

Sadly most of these companies go to outside agencies to up there ESG ratings so they hire a company that's destroyed many games the last few years like sweet baby Inc and they add it into the game even if it doesn't make sense and sadly these companies just go along with it.

I noticed it in a game called Gotham nights with all the rainbow flags they also added some type of gay or lesbian kiss and Spider-Man game I played and the one that gets me in this game is they'll switch the ponytail referee from black to Indian to White and they purposely add cutscenes with the coach arguing then they skate away flipping their ponytail while I'm trying to play a 1979 vintage season ?
Like I said nothing kills the immersion when Will Smith is on the bench coaching instead of Scotty Bowman.
You have many great ideas especially on the announcers and from what I and from what I heard this is a whole new EA team from a 2 years ago as the gameplay is as good as it's ever been.
So hopefully they clean up the simple things in this game before they add anything or make things optional instead of having diversity rammed down our throats for some ESG ratings.

Hopefully this woke stuff is over but I wouldn't be surprised if you see the female assistant coach on the kraken in the game while they still have less than 50% real faces of the actual players in the game. ��

Just basic stuff to improve game big way.

They need to put all those different player types from online modes to Career mode (example puck moving defensemen) and different kind of players would need to play different.

Example for rush 1) Playmaker Kucherov would go to wide and creates play to others. 2) Powerforward would drive to net 3) Sniper would try to shoot earlier

And just fix basic stuff from AI, like during penalty kill D-men can't just skate to o-zone after the puck all the time.

Well, I don't think they have any Playmaking D-Man and Enforcers set. Enforcers are set as Grinders (Reaves, Rempe etc) and PMD are set as Offensive D-Men.

I meant more of Franchise Mode, but yeah also Be a Pro. But that Be a Pro have so many issues that playertypes isnt very high on that fix list.
