CPU passing slider to 0 makes them pass about like a competent human player in my opinion.. about perfect.. well done EA, well done.

Good to hear. So the cpu is not as tape to tape as in the demo if you do that?

That's a matter of opinion, I don't think it changes how they pass enough others may think it's perfect.
They still make too many perfect passes for my taste even at zero.

I played two games before i had to go to work i really like the way the game played in my short time with it. I am still at work and won't be off till 5:00 pm. I want to play more badly be with football today/tonight looks like it going to be a very late night for me. I will try to give some impressions later on

really? i notched it back up to 1 because i felt they were missing a bit much.. HOWEVER, the sliders need to be more granular next year.. why so few 'notches'?

i think when set to "0" they should be missing 90% of passes! when set to max, they should NEVER miss. and the sliders should allow for EVERYTHING inbetween. in NHL 10 the sliders are fantastic but they only allow a slight variance from what's "normal" or default.

I believe EA wants the game to be playable with any slider settings so to speak.. that's not what we want. Anyone who is playing with sliders in the first place is a hardcore player who understands he is changing the way the game is played, and therefore the sliders they give us should give us FULL control..

I just got an automated call from Gamestop saying I can pick up my pre-order at Midnight on Monday. I won't have it until Tuesday though.

I got my call today too actually, the odd thing I also got a call for my copy of 2k10 but the message said tuesday rather than monday night at midnight even though I was told it would be available at midnight. S'pose its just as well as I doubt I'll be able to fly between two seperate gamestops in time anyway.

Should be Tuesday. It was street dated this year.
