Are you loading the game on your HD?

I have not yet because I wanted to play right away! but I will do it now and see if the freezes stop

(FYI: that was the one and only freeze I had. no more since.. played about 4-5 more games)

the gameplay is brilliant.. the puck physics are much better than I noticed in the demo (the puck seems to have real weight as opposed to 09 where it seemed too light or something)

love the new goalies too with their 2nd and 3rd save attempts, diving out at loose pucks..

I also love what happens when you score.. it's like the camera zooms in slowly at the beginning, not quite sure what it is exactly but something makes goal scoring so rewarding compared to the demo (or 09)

Akula, how similar is the game to the demo? Also last year I was hyped for 09 but once I had it I was dissapointed with the game out of the box...is the game out of the box heaps better this year or are you a bit dissapointed?

One more thing...if you change the sliders so that cpu passing is down, does it actually make a difference on the ice, does the cpu start to miss passes and turn the puck over?

I always load my games to the HD first thing.. but I get your wanting to play right away!

The game is improved over the demo : no doubt. I am very picky about these things. Stuff i've noticed different from the demo : more animations , goalie improvements, and most of all puck physics.

I have so far put the CPU passing down one notch.. they don't seem to be "bobbling passes" yet, I do think they are passing less.. I will try moving it all the way down!!

Any other sliders I should try to improve this? (IE I remember someone saying tweaking shot power up might reduce CPU passing for example_?)

Hey guys I think I figured out which one it was on my own. I called and he said to come pick it up. I'll post when I get back if I got it. Should be home in a couple hours. Have to go to the bank as well for a meeting.

CPU passing slider to 0 makes them pass about like a competent human player in my opinion.. about perfect.. well done EA, well done.
