Are you referring to the auto back-skate? If you are, what am I doing wrong then? I go to the "controls" menu and I have it set to default...I scroll down to make sure auto-backskate is "on" - is there another setting somewhere that I'm missing?

Maybe already mentioned (After downloading patch #2)

System: PS3
Mode: Offline (Play Now)
Problem: Ripped a shot with a defender (Volchenkov), went off crossbar and in, then just continued through the net as if the net didn't exist. Goal did count though.

The physics of this game are absolutely brutal. A blocked shot at the point goes all the way to the other end of the ice. Shots are blocked in ridiculous numbers. Slap shots are blocked with blades of sticks, rather than just snapping them off.

And for God's sake, take out the 7 or 8 seconds after every whistle. It is the absolute biggest waste of time, and there's no reason for it.......

In offline play, the AI has the ability to catch and intercept passes that the user doesn't. My Marian Gaborik looked like he was going to intercept a cross ice pass and go in for the break away, but instead the pass bounced of his stick 10 feet into the air.

This game is so heavily flawed it fascinates me.

Hey guys...

Is anyone experiencing a plus/minus glitch? Or maybe I don't know the rules of hockey as well as I thought!

I scored a hat trick with Jeff Carter in a 9-0 win. He finished with three points and his +/- was a 2. Shouldn't it have been a 3 considering I shut out my opponent?

Sorry if this has been discussed.

You only get a + if you are on the ice when your team scores even strength or shorthanded, never on a powerplay. You don't get a + for shutting out your opponent. So you got a +2 cause you scored 3 points but you were on the ice when the other team scored 1 time, which gave you a ~ .

just got tossed in the box for 6:00, one guy...

went and looked in the penalty summary.

"Unsportsmanlike Conduct" : 16:00
"Unsportsmanlike Conduct" : 16:00
"Unsportsmanlike Conduct" : 16:05

so they threw him in the box for 6:00 all for unsportsmanlike conduct, their powerplay then went 3/3 and i lost 3-2 :owned:

i looked at the replay, and i tried to start a fight with the low cross check move, then i pulled a facewash (all away from the play, had to look on replay) but i could not find cause for a 3rd penalty. it was weird to see 6:00 come up on their powerplay, anyone else get anything like that?

I know that you don't get a + for shutting out the opponent. I was pointing out that I hadn't allowed any goals.

Game still locks up sometimes post patch when trying to change lines during the post fight cut scenes.

i dont know if this was mentioned already, but post patch, i just noticed on my BaGM in a game when i had to go to a shootout, the commentators were saying things way way way out when discussing the game on hand. i cant help but to laugh the way the these commentators describing the game (during shootout). they are commenting another game, like how detroit is playing while im playing as Minnesota and my opponent was Vancouver!!! Another is that he was describing a penalty done by a player while having the replay of a shootout.

i definitely lost the shootout because i was more into listening to the commentators than focusing on my game. EA kindly look into it AND please fixt it.

Is anybody else having a problem with purchased boost slots that are aren't automatically loaded on startup? I have to go to hockey shop everytime I start my game, or the boost slots I purchased stay locked. After about 30 seconds wait time in the shop it finally loads and stays there until I reload the game. Maybe I did something wrong or have a setting wrong?

Is there any workaround in place or fix coming for the CHL? In Season Mode, teams are not being awarded a point in the standings for an OTL. It really makes the entire CHL a worthless addition.

Worthless if you plan on doing a CHL season. Not so much if you are just doing a BAGM or BAP. They still should fix it.
