So does that entail you won't have guys rotting in the AHL? I do have both Modano and Hudler on the Wings in my BaGM.

I'm going to run a few more sims when I get a minute here, but my results earlier were good using that roster file. The only time I was getting really ****ed up results was with the pre-release update.

Good news sir. Think I'll get stuck into BeAGM right off the bat on release day if things have settled down roster wise. With the Islanders probably. Played too much Western Conference hockey last year.

There's no such thing as too much Western Conference hockey, come on.

Simming might have to wait until tomorrow, insanely looooooooooong day today, I just want to play a couple and go to bed!

Results again...

Abdelkader played 80 games in the AHL, he's only a 75 overall. No big deal.

Drury played 61 games in the AHL and 17 in the NHL.

Crosby=82 NHL games
Ovechkin=82 NHL games
Iginla=82 NHL games
Datsyuk=82 NHL games
Kovalchuk=82 NHL games
Alfredsson=82 NHL games

I saw no major stars in the AHL. The only problem I've noticed with the sim engine is the same thing that's always been there. Too many players play 82 games. Every team had about 10 guys play 82 games. That's not common. Some had 15+. Also the simulated stats, as we all know, need a bit of work. Troy Brouwer led the Hawks in points. Toews only had 63 points. Ovechkin only had 60 something. Daniel Sedin only had 62 (and led the Canucks in points). Henrik Sedin had 46.

This needs to be the major emphasis next year. EA really needs to spend the majority of their time on Be A GM. Primarily the simulated stats.

As far as an AHL/superstar bug, I'm just not seeing it. Maybe it was an update or maybe it was because I am using the original, default roster that came with the game, but either way I'm comfortable with starting a Be A GM as soon as I finish this roster.
