    a. AI teammates are afraid of crossing the blue line

    b. sometimes your AI got stuck "somewhere" the ice facing the board as if he's mesmerized with the crowds or somethin...

    these 2 are so annoying IMO.

      I think maybe an idea could be something like "chemistry" but it was a sort of experience point system. The more players play on the same line, the more xp they develop. That was you aren't punished for placing players on any line, but you are rewarded for finding lines that work, and sticking with them.
      Maybe if you had some sort of system where each point earned by the line would serve as a multiplier for that line's xp. So for each game they played together, they would get a small amount of "xp" that could be increased by a certain percentage with each goal or assist by a player on the line.
      That way you aren't losing for mixing up your lines, but if you find a good mix and let them play, they can get a small stat increase. Might be a way of "simulating" players getting to know each other and how they play, and where they are.
      It's kind of like how you could see watching the Blues play, how Stewart and Shattenkirk who came over from the Avs just knew each other, and knew where the other would be when which set up some nice shots on net.

        Oh no, I do not want he exact version NHL 07 had, just the concept. How I would implement it is a new line has a default setting of say 50, no benefits or negatives because the players have yet to become accustom to one another. They more games they play will cause this to increase steadily and in doing so they receive a slight edge, take passes better (expecting them), get into position better and so forth.
