Just wondering Gopher if you plan on making any moves to deepen the Wild defensively?

In real life, I really like Clayton, Jared and Justin. But game wise, I see their rated fairly low.

I think Sandella and Spurgeon can develop into pretty solid D-men, they are both 22, I believe. But I imagine they probably won't be rated very high in NHL13.

I'm thinking I will play this season out with what we have, and use the $ from Backstrom's expiring contract on another FA D-man.

i have been wondering abt this already as well, just looking forward to nhl13 too much i guess lol, i havent played any nhl titles in ages and i dont know much the league irl.. so im looking for a team that has minor chances to advance to the stanley cup finals, no team that will dominate but lets say an improbable but yet possible finalist. should be an exciting franchise with maybe a good fan base in real life (nothing like phoenix lol).

I would go with Washington, Tampa Bay, Buffalo, Chicago, Philadelphia or St. Louis. All of those teams are playoff caliber teams and could make the Stanley Cup Finals but I don't see any of them winning it. I'm going with eithre Buffalo or Tampa Bay. Buffalo has a lot of options but no real superstar forward. Tampa Bay has some aging stars, Steven Stamkos, and role players. They need an elite level goalie to succeed.

I hate simming so I'm gonna play every game. I completed 3 full seasons plus playoffs last year and I didn't sim one game.

As much as I like rebuilding young teams, I always choose my hometown team from Boston.

At least I'll be able to play with a much improved Seguin, and possibly a young Dougie Hamilton, depending on how he's rated/if he makes the real team.

I'll also try to trade Marchand, because even though I loved his scrappy, pestering style before and during the Cup run, he became a flat-out dirty, flopping idiot last year. Good riddance.

My favorite team is the Ottawa Senators, but I always end up playing with my hometown Sabres. I just can't help myself

I create a team and move them to Cleveland. It was Atlanta, but since they're now in Winnipeg, I'll probably move Phoenix.

Or, I'll just play as Columbus, the only Ohio team IRL...

I had no idea you could move teams to new city's. Will this be a new feature in NHL 13

I'm going with the Blackhawks as usual. But I'm making it #1 priority to find a legitimate 2nd line center. Crawford will be my long-term goalie as I believe last year was just a sophomore slump.

I'm glad you're optimistic about Crawford, but unfortunately you'll see just how bad he is this year. The fact is his first year was the fluke. The guy is TERRIBLE.

It's been in since 10. You create a team, replace one of the existing teams, and choose a city from the list in the game. You don't get official arenas though ( I.e. no Quicken Loans Arena). They're "EA Arena"...
