Good job putting Semin on the Canes. Finally!

Thoughts on game play - not good. acceleration to top speed is through the roof, everyone seems like they're on crack now.. they went a bit overboard on tuning the speed, agility and acceleration. hopefully they tone it down a bit. My speed rating for my guy in EASHL is an 80 and he now skates like Grabner...

New gameplay- not good! :-(

I actually did what Reshirt_EA recommended, about deleting your player profile and then redoing it, (only draw back is if you have saved custom music files that will go as well, so you have plug those back in), and it worked like a charm. I play superstar, with some difficult sliders of my own, and played a game, LA v. FLA... sorry dont remember most of the stats, except, that i won in OT 3-2, tough game, FLA had 6 PP's and I had 4. 10 min per. length. got outshot 39 - 30. it was a great game. i was satisfied with the hitting and the gameplay. Felt ALOT more loose, and the skating is not as "stiff." if anyones interested, i used Blackdragoon27's superstar slider set, and made some tweaks of my own, to what i like, and its been fantastic.

Maybe that is what I will do is delete my profile, and just create a new one and see how it works then.

what is your game speed and acceleration settings?

I have game speed at 0 and acceleration at 3 and it seems good.

Like a few others have mentioned...yep, my audio/visual settings are saving now, too!

As far as gameplay...I've only played one game so far with the patch/1.06. So really can't say too much right now. But I did get the impression that the goalies are even a bit more solid. Which I'm happy about.

Why do they do that?....does it have to be put into a roster update and not the patch? I have done and set all my rosters and lines I dont want to have to download a new roster and then start over

I agree with you.Why not just include the winter classic Jersey's in the patch??

In two Season mode games last night I had weird penalty numbers. In the first one, I had one penalty to five for the CPU. In the second I had seven penalties to my opponents zero.

But it's just two games. But at the very least, I'm not seeing penalties go just one way.

I checked and double-checked and didn't see the Rangers and Flyers' Winter Classic jerseys as selectable in any game mode after DLing the patch. Anyone else have this happen?

Same here. I just bought the game 2 days ago and popped it in last night and no jerseys in the Play Now mode. I'm confused.

Did you ever find/figure it out?

Played a game of HUT and it was super slow. EASHL is much faster.

I cant speak for HUT as i havent played it yet but EASHL speeds and agility are through the roof. Too much i think for my liking. I liked how before it would take a while before players were able to accelerate to full speed.. now they seem a little too agile... i'll have to play a few more games but it feels like players are weightless now

I think that's how they fix the turning. I remember when the game first came out on the season ticket, the game was pretty slow and people were having trouble turning/pivoting so they tuned the game and the game speed was increased. They need a happy medium between HUT and EASHL.
