The same thing happened in NHL13. If you adjusted one slider before a game, doesn't matter which, you would get penalties. If you didn't adjust any, you would get none.

kinda sounds like the same thing....

this is why people that defend ea drive me nuts. It's clear they worked on new hitting physics for nhl14. other than that it's nhl13. Same bugs as previous years, same boatload of money raked in.

So what's worse, the people that defend it or the people that complain every year and keep buying it every year anyways? There is nothing wrong with voicing your complaints with a product, but when it continuously happens and you keep buying anyways, you can only blame yourself.

As for the original topic, the sliders and settings save fine for BAGM. They will only reset if you change the difficulty level. The only settings issue Ive come across is needing to adjust the period length before each play now game (after the team select screen).

I think you missed the OP's point. He's not saying that the sliders reset but rather that whatever slider you have saved in your Be a GM don't seem to be applied when you are playing unless you change them before the game. As in the slider screen has all the right settings but the gameplay is not line with those settings.

I was skeptical at first too. I play Hardcore simulation and don't change any of the sliders. Yet I noticed that my BE a GM games felt more like the old default gamestyle. I started changing the gamestyle to simulation and then back to Hardcore simulation before each game and so far it seems to make a big difference in gameplay. My settings "felt" right in the 4 games where I applied the OP's theory and the game felt more like default gamestyle in the one game I forgot to do it.

Which is you you always find your set in the mode you plan on using them in. The game definitely plays different in Play Now than in GM or Season Mode. It was actually the same way with 2K Hockey.

It seems you still don't grasp what we are saying. This is not at all about the gameplay difference between Be a GM and Play Now. It's about a gameplay difference between Be a GM games depending on whether you reset your settings/sliders before entering the game.

In both cases, we have our sliders set as we want them in GM mode and saved properly. If we go into the settings within GM mode our sliders are still as we left them and the same holds true if we check them during a GM game.

So to solve this, before every game in gm mode, reset the sliders to default then adjust again and play?

reset - rules & gameplay LTL: My Pro/Settings/ Rules & Gameplay settings: both to pro: simulation - beware of penalties has tendency to stay: 4 just switch it to: 3.

Be A GM Mode: customize/ settings / rules & gameplay settings : both to default: pro: simulation.

then head to play next game in LTL & Be A GM: select teams/select jerseys/ starting lineups/game settings & rules & gameplay settings : ( prompt the settings in there) <-- Be A GM,
select teams/ select jerseys/view lines/ game settings & rules & gameplay settings : prompt the sliders in here : LTL <--

now if you happen to find these at this location:
my pro/settings/ rules & gameplay settings : with same settings to started off with reset them to: default : pro: simulation.

be a gm mode: customize/settings/ rules & gameplay settings : reset them both to: pro:simulation.

for now just prompt them at : play next game

Why in the world should anyone have reset sliders before each game. Fix this garbage EA!!!! Does anyone even test the game before release anymore?

Nah I dont think this teory is really true I try many times to reset the slider before play now, but seems that penalties still completely casual some games there some games not....and so instead that could be, I see more penalties before the patch that now.... EA is not really interested I think in fixing offline secondary issues
