I am primarily a PC player but do have a console for hockey games (and baseball) so it looks like I will be buying a PS4 (baseball) this summer to get ready for NHL 15. If it wasn't for NHL 15 I wouldnt be buying a new gen console but I will now. I am actually quite excited about it.

I was really hoping for some improvements to BeAGM mode.

I wouldn't be so sure there isn't. This is a very preliminary list that says a lot but not at the same time. Also, it seems like the first year on a new console they are focusing on all the right places (presentation, physics, player models, and AI). They have an extremely small team, I'm surprised they were able to tackle so much; then again, they did have essentially two development cycles to do it since they didn't release a next-gen title last October.

Features list does sound good so far, but is it just me or do most of those features sound like it's improvements on next generation consoles only and not the previous generation?

Next Gen only.

A lot of these improvements wouldnt be possible on previous gen

I'm pretty excited after the initial info. Can't wait to see how it's all implemented with some pics/video of actual gameplay.

What they say about the 12-player collision physics has me a little worried. Hopefully there will be more scrums, but the fact that "player pileups" is mentioned is a little disconcerting, hopefully they don't go overboard.
