The issue with this tho, which was why i was hoping it would come out the week of August 19th, is that if it's the 26th, thats the same date that Madden 15 Retail comes out.

Would EA release this the same day as Madden Retail comes out?

I'm not sure they'd do that, though I'm pretty sure the demo has released August 21-24 for the past handful of years, so perhaps they'll push it to the 19th? We can hope, though one would think they would've said something by now to talk it up.

They won't say when cause it is not totally up to them. They submit the demo to playstation and xbox and, like a patch, it must get certified and published by those parties before it appears for download. Providing a date could only lead to backlash if something hangs up and it does not meet that timeframe.

It will be on a Tuesday. It's unlikely it would be the Tuesday of Madden's release, but ya never know.

NHL14 demo released on 8/20, retail on 9/10. Madden retail was 8/27. I feel like the two have coincided in the past, but ultimately, I think the MS/Sony approval process will trump marketing desires.

That is my feelings as well. I don't see EA releasing a demo the same day as another game release. Especially Madden. So I would say a week prior to Madden release it week after Madden release.
