Is online versus play only 1 on 1? Can you still play with 3 or 4 players online using the same system? Cause from the interview you gave before, it seemed that the problem with OTP was getting 12 different screens to do the same thing and not mess up. So since it would just be 3 or 4 people on one screen playing 3 or 4 people on another screen, there shouldn't be an issue. Unless you were lying.

Are there any plans to better utilize all the teams and leagues that are in the game outside of just play now games? I'm not a big soccer fan, but one of the things I have admired about the FIFA series is how they integrate all the leagues in the game in there modes with weekly attribute updates, match day challenges/matches, etc. As a casual fan, I have learned a lot about other leagues and countries that I probably never would have ventured to play with if it weren't for the accessibility in the game.
I understand soccer is more of a global game than hockey is presently, and the primary focus is the NHL after-all, but I feel like the NHL series hasn't utilized all of it resources when it comes to the teams it has in the game. The Champions Hockey League, for example, is starting this week and it would be cool to have that integrated in the game some how.
I understand you guys, don't have the IIHF license anymore (I believe it was in 05). Are there any plans to work with them, to have national teams licensed again? World Championships? World Juniors? Olympics? We will see updated national team jerseys?
NOTE: I think you should consider including Slovenia in the game. They recently played in the past Olympics and have been on the rise and have surpassed many countries that have been in the series for years.
I was happy to hear all the leagues from 14 made it over to the next gen game and the CHL has been a great add to the series. Are there any plans to add more leagues? KHL?

Has the AI trade/sign logic been fixed in Be a GM mode? Are there at least new menus this year to change up what we have been looking at for the past few years? Are there any new features to Be a GM mode? My decision to buy the game early (if at all) depends on Be a GM mode, we need some info on it.Comment

Also piggybacking off of the defensive controls question, has there been any talk of integrating a "simulation" setting for online modes. Meaning is it possible to play in a setting where there is less emphasis on bone crushing hits everytime a guy plays a puck?
As a someone who plays/played as a defenseman in OTP/EASHL I've noticed I'm at a disadvantage because I don't build my character to lay big hits, rather I rely (or try to) on positioning and making the smart hockey play. Over the last few years it seems like the best defense in this game is to just hit everything that moves and there is little penalty for doing so. So much so that people just sit back in the defensive zone waiting for the breakout and just taking runs at opposing players. Whereas if I sit back and try to play a safe style, I just feel like the offensive guys have more tools to work with. Even if I play a guy perfectly, I'm still at high risk for taking a penalty if I elect to go for a poke check.
I realize you guys have to cater to a casual fanbase also, but is it possible to add a simulation setting for people who want to play a realistic style of hockey. And if online is considered to be on a simulation setting, is it possible to tune it to be more apparent?Comment

Is Custom Sounds in for PS4? Is the NBC Presenation Package in for PS3? Is BeAGM any different for PS4, than it is for PS3? With 12 whole months devoted to NHL 15 for PS3, is it safe to assume you will devote another 12 months to NHL 16 for PS3? When will you stop making the game for PS3 and devote 100 percent to the PS4 version? ThanksComment

The future of GM Connected is TBD.
When we look at the data of how many people are actually playing the mode, it is VERY small relative to our other modes.
One of the things that we need to be careful of moving forward is to not spread ourselves too thin.
On G3, we have a lot of modes that get minimal use.
Maintaining these modes year on year (even if we don't add any new features) is very costly and it takes away from us working on other features in the more played modes which is why I say that the future is TBD based on current usage.
When we first put GMC in, it was a highly requested mode from our fans but that hasn't translated into the usage we expected.Comment

Sean,
Being that I mainly played Online Be A GM and EASHL, how can you sell me on your upcoming NHL 15 release? I love the presentation addition of the NBC broadcast overlays and commentary team. However, in a world where money doesn't fall from trees, I cannot play OTP and have fun with it because there will be others who will pour quite literally hundreds of dollars into their roster. My guess is that the purpose of the q and a was to explain the lack of modes and why they didn't make it as opposed to other specifics about the game. Hopefully we get something about GM mode improvements before release, but if not I'm sure people with ea access will be posting everything when its available so we will know either way by the 9thComment
