Don't know about Boldy, but here is the link to what MKGamingByMunish was talking about for Ranta. Guy seems to know what he's talking about in his other videos.

Does anyone know if CAPS still have their shot biases bugged this year?

For those who don't know, CAPS will end up leading their teams in shots, regardless of attributes/player type.

I created Podkolzin, Luke Hughes, Beniers, Johnson, Power, Askarov, Chinakov and Michkov to start with. They're the biggest names missing from the game so far.

I'm almost through the NHL announced opening day rosters including injured list. I'm using the EA Roster #2 from October 8th.

So far my CAPs are: (added a few, done through Toronto)

ARI - Vladislav Provolnev - D
BUF - Lukas Rousek - RW
CGY - Tyler Parsons - G
COL - Sampo Ranta - LW
CMB - Yegor Chinakhov - RW
LAK - Vladislav Tkachev - LW
MIN - Matt Boldy - LW
OTT - Angus Crookshank - LW
SJS - Jasper Weatherby - C
TBL – Odeen Tufto - C
TOR – Alex Steeves - LW

Also, NJD - Corey Crawford is no longer in the game, not sure if I should add him as he's retired but is on the Devils opening day list as non-roster.

After I get done with opening day, then I'll do a current roster, then start the long slog to do the AHL. Hopefully I'll be done right around when sharing starts.

When I have a full CAP list, I'll post my list and ratings.

Brent Seabrook is also retired, but still on TB. Don't know if EA will take him and Crawford out in the next update though.

Probably once he gets a new waiver signed. I just created him for my 2k10 roster and had a bit of a guessing game for ratings as there are not too many scouting reports on him.

For those who don't know, CAPS will end up leading their teams in shots, regardless of attributes/player type.

I’m sure they do, but there is a way around that with tweaking playmaker passing vs shooting attributes. I was able to create guys like Zegras and Newhook and they were putting up 25-55-80 when they hit prime years (as an example). I have templates for each player type that seemed to give pretty realistic stats for the 200+ prospects I created in NHL 21 so I’d assume they’d be the same in 22.

Many of these are on Swedish/Finnish and CHL teams. Their attributes are lower so they need a full attribute edit.

I’m assuming it’s cause they’re still under contract. Ryan Kesler of the Ducks is an example. He hasn’t played a game in years and he’s still on the Ducks. Same with Chris Pronger in the past.

9 unsigned draft picks, and 1 player signed in the AHL who was in NHL 21

I gave a few players some abilities, where it seemed those abilities were above NHL average. I may go back in the NHL players and add a few abilities. Seems only a few stars per team currently have these but this would be a great way to differentiate average level players.

I'll post more as I bring a duplicate of that roster set up to date.
