You may or may not find these helpful for other play types but be my guest.
A few notes first off:
- I know not every setting has an effect on CPU vs CPU but I included all of them, so either ignore them or put them the same as I have, for example, I know BAP Strategy Adjustment has no relation to CPU vs CPU but I set it to 0/100 anyway.
- My team is the Arizona Coyotes which I moved to Seattle. I say this because I'm currently rebuilding them. The team is competitive but not a powerhouse, so these sliders may not work if you have a really good team going up against the other teams in the league. Just something to think about.
- I'm still constantly trying to get the feeling of the penalties right. It's hard to find a middle ground between penalties almost every minute, to 1 penalty a game.
- I haven't come across really any fights yet but that really doesn't bother me at all.
- I still feel there could be some tweaks done, so if you try these out and find some adjustments that may be better, please feel free to share them.
Okay, now before I give the sliders I just want to say that I feel like I found a pretty good realistic feel, the exact numbers may not match perfectly, but I feel the shots, hits, passing %, faceoffs, and goals per game feel really good compared to how the time settings are set up.
Now on to the sliders:
(Again, this is for CPU vs CPU so I have the CPU and Human sliders set to the same length. It makes my OCD feel better)

PENALTIES
(With these settings, you're mostly going to get Slashing and Hooking calls, but based on the way the game is engineered and the player movements, this seems to be one of the downsides of NHL 17. However, if you ignore the type of calls and just focus on the amount of penalties, you should be satisfied to an extent.)
