After a long hiatus I’m back and making some tweaks. One is acceleration to 2 which may raise some eyebrows but this makes the game really look real. The leg movement and pace of acceleration is actually more believable to me. I adjusted the skate speed back to my stopwatch figure of 90 and I really think the game looks a bit better. I also dropped the game speed slider to 3 which keeps the players from looking jumpy and jittery.

Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
So after my small tweak I was hooked again. I spent all night messing with my speed sliders etc. I restudied McDavids lap times and found I was using his top speed instead of his in game speed for reference. His in game speed is roughly 25 mph and his top speed is 29 mph so that made a huge difference. So I clocked him again going end to end. This time in 8 seconds flat. So the game has taken yet another step closer to reality. I changed the game speed slider, puck carrier agility, skating agility, acceleration and skate speed sliders."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Made some tweaks to the same values. Still skates 8 seconds but different setup to get there. Please check OP for changes."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
After all the changes to fatigue etc I needed to reclock my skate speed. Skate speed is now 19."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Yeah I meant 8 minute periods, it’s a typo. I’m working heavily on my 20 minute set and must have made a mistake."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
Should work fine. If you find the gameplay a tad too fast just turn down game speed to 1. I’ve been working so hard on my 20 minute set I feel like I’ve neglected these a little bit. Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
After dropping my 20 Minute set these are being reworked and updated. Please give me time to fix these sliders. They are not ready as is. My 20 minute set is though and this set is going to be ready soon. Thank you for your patience.Last edited by Occam; 12-21-2023, 03:20 PM."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
