Few more changes I couldn’t help but do. This is starting to make me blink twice though. Check OP and compare for changes. I made changes to the speed and size effect, bouncing puck receptions and pass reception ease sliders.

Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
I have made all final changes until I get feedback on thread. Won’t move a slider until then."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
Version 11 is posted. Too many changes to list really. I made a mistake in my last version with the Reception reaction time slider. The value should have been 52/52, instead it matched my pass reception ease slider. I apologize and intend to triple check my posts.😀"Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
I’m new to NHL 23 and never played any others and thought since we have the Seattle Kraken now I would try getting into this, I used play a lot of nba live back when we had the sonics. I think the best mode play in and easiest in would be cpu vs cpu and me couching and managing the team. I’m going to try your sliders but I’m wondering if these would work for full 20 minute periods.Comment

Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
Not a bad local team to have, even if they’re the new kids on the block. As to your question, I have no idea how they would run in 20 minute periods. Could work? I’d be curious as well.Last edited by Occam; 05-17-2023, 05:51 PM."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
Version 12 is close to being finished. This version will address the hitting. The sound is realistic now, no grenades going off. Sounds of sticks and equipment, even grunting are heard now. Also, addressed Goalie reaction time. I addressed Puck control to where they don’t bobble the puck every time, but you will still see random issues. Last but not least I’m adjusting speed as we speak. Should be posted soon. Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
Made change to Puck Control slider. Please update your sliders as this really adds to the game by slowing it a bit and making things more interesting in the neutral zone etc. Also, changed Goalie screen effect CPU value. Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
I was looking over my numbers and really wondering if these would be good for human vs Cpu too. All values match except Puck control, which is negligible. Anyone out there care to try it and give feedback?"Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Hit power dropped from 13/13 to 11/11. Dropped to counter some of the atomic bomb hits I’m seeing."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Hit power dropped again to 9/9. This helps with game speed too. I think I’m very close here.Last edited by Occam; 05-18-2023, 11:36 PM."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Hit power changed to cpu 2/human 2. This is looking pretty good. I’m done for now. Final as is until feedback. Also, I’m going to be out of town a few days so will have to do for now."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Re: Occam’s Real Deal Cpu vs Cpu sliders
Noticed the lack of contact so updated hit power to cpu 3/human 3. Hits look good and game is just right I believe."Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away." – Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
